Having consumed many, many pizza's in various countries, apart from Italy, Hugo's Pizza Bar in Manly is undoubtedly the best Pizza I have had outside Italy and better still right here in Oz.
Not only was the Pizza sensational the attention and service from the waitress who was assigned to our table was nothing short of excellent .

With a view overlooking the bay and the comings and goings of those grand old ferries the Hogo's is a place you can enjoy a great luncheon, however in the evening especially on a Friday and Saturday, this place takes on a different complexity, it gets extremely busy and the level of noise increases quite a bit.

All in all, the venue and service is very good and we cannot wait to get back again as the pizza's are soooo.....good.

Arrogant, Pretentious, Discriminatory employees - not worth your wasting your time here. There are far better places to go out in KX and Sydney CBD.

What a wonderful place to eat or just drinks on a sunny Sydney evening. We arrived about 3 pm ordered the Cocktail of the day Great! and sat back to enjoy the view and the sunshine. Service was attentive and quick we ordered Polenta chips and then the Antipasto plate and of course another cocktail. The sun goes down the candles get lit and all the while you hear the water lapping gently Nd can see the ferries come and go. Great location great atmosphere ...... Sunday afternoon... Every afternoon... Every season!!

My wife picked this one, why don’t know, it is not often we go out for a Pizza. So off to the trendy Kings Cross area, great location very easy to get to but the Taxi driver did not, dropped us of fairly close and I asked a waiter where the place was, he point up the road but I could not see a sign until we were nearly at the door. Very hip and trendy this place, loved the lighting, it was busy and the staff were flying around. We pre-booked and as Karen gets cold she requested an indoor table, quickly seated and menus in hand we off to a great start. We both had starters, mine the Raw Yellowfin Tuna and Meatballs for Karen, both were beautiful, could have had a little more Chilli on mine. The meatballs baked in sauce was so tasty I could have had a bowl of them alone. Waiter was on the ball as the glasses drained the waiter topped them up, great work. We decide to only share a pizza, this being the Prawn with Chilli, roasted Capsicum’s and a Verde, well we were not too impressed with the Prawns they had a slightly weird flavour, we began to pick them out and eat around them. The one really positive thing about the Pizza was when you held the wedge by the crust it never drooped down, perfectly cooked base, hard enough to retain the topping but not hard to the bite. We never finished the Pizza which was a shame, the side we had missed the mark, but only by technic the Crispy Polenta chips ( more like blocks !!! ) in Truffled Parmesan were not crispy, very blonde I reckon came out of fryer too early, but they tasted fantastic, just lacked the crunch. Now as you know I do like to have a glass or two when out dining and I was not tipsy when I walked in to the Gents, looked left and right saw two Urinals on both sides and decided to go to the left hand ones to only walk straight into full length mirror !!!!!!!!!! Karen nearly had to go to the ladies when I came back and told her, so funny !!!!!!!!
