Brilliant location in Sydney. Walking distance to most of the main attractions. Darling Harbor about 15min stroll. Very easy access to all transport, even Central station is only about 25mins walk, but trains and buses will get you there quicker.
The Megaboom feels like it has recently been completely updated and refurbished and the rooms are very comfortable with all facilities, tea, coffee, safe,tv,fridge, water & some soft drinks.
High end backpacker price, low end hotel price. Perfect for the 'older backpackers' wanting great location.

Staff very accommodating. Our room view was a brick wall, this was ok because of day sleeping after very long flights. Nice shower. Smaller room. Coffee, tea and soda complementary in room. No meal service in hotel. Good location.

This hotel was booked for me by my work organization. Firstly trying to find it, in the dark after stumbling from the train station across George St was interesting... - Reminiscent of a European hotel, up stairs from a ground level door the hotel was a neat and tidy little package, that offered free beverages in the fridge! Although tiny, the room was very clean and comfortable. I think it was over priced for what we got, but all in all an OK place. The check-out was somewhat stilted, but other than that, if you'd like somewhere convenient, it is fine! We had the pleasure of having a room off reception, there was any noise from other customers, and no outside noise. OK in the end.

I found this hotel to be very good value for money. The room was clean, neat & tidy. There wasn't any traffic noise (even with the hotel being on busy York Street). The bed was comfortable & water was hot. The reception staff was friendly. The only downsize was the lack of a dining room. However, this is Sydney & there are plenty of places to eat & drink! I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Absolutely loved this hotel. Room was very big, bed comfortable and good bathroom. Staff were very friendly and although we arrived very early they kept our luggage and told us to come back in a couple of hours (still much earlier than check in time) and our room would be ready. Location is absolutely perfect! Darling harbour and china town are both about a ten min walk and you have loads of shops/bars/restaurants right on your doorstep! Would definitely recommend
