Absolutely loved this hotel. Room was very big, bed comfortable and good bathroom. Staff were very friendly and although we arrived very early they kept our luggage and told us to come back in a couple of hours (still much earlier than check in time) and our room would be ready. Location is absolutely perfect! Darling harbour and china town are both about a ten min walk and you have loads of shops/bars/restaurants right on your doorstep! Would definitely recommend

Very affordable and a comfortable bed. The staff were lovely and looked after our luggage for a few hours after check out so that we could explore the city. Facilities were all in good working order. Loved the complimentary drinks though the fridge could have been colder. Great location. Very easy to commute around the city from it.

You're paying for location, which can't be beat. Five minutes' walk from St. James and Town Hall train stations. Grocery store (Woolworth's Town Hall) 5 minutes away. If you're on a budget, check out the food hall in the lower level of the Myer store. The room is small with a decent bathroom. Just a few complaints: (1) Room #612 is quiet, but there are no signs to it. You have to wander around to find a half-stairwell. (2) One of the shades in this room is hung backwards, so it leaves a lot of light. (3) Because of the automatic power (power turns off when you remove your keycard and leave the room), the power in the fridge is off when you're not in the room, making it impossible to keep food cold.

Clean room, rather small but still acceptable for a short overnight stay. The bag rack located in the hall was a nuisance. Difficult to pass.
Staff very helpful but the vibration coming through the building from the underground railway went all night. It was worse during peak hours but subsided in the later part of the evening.

Room Tip: Ask for upper floor rooms
