You need to queue up for this place, but it's only aboutt 10-15 mins. The service is very efficient. The food was great and quickly served. Had 6 satay, one roti and two main dishes with 2 soft drinks, paid $62. We were full. Couldn't try the sweet roti so need to come back soon!

Have been before but was disappointed this time.

Service was poor, but the food is ok. Not as cheap as you think when you look at the menu.

I think it is time to look at service quality.

Watching through the window is still fun.

Had wonderful fluffy roti chanai here with fish curry gravy ( decided to swop the lentil curry for another fish curry gravy. Supplemented it with peanut chilli sauce rojak and 6 skewers of juicy charcoal bbq-ed beef satay. Englishman hubby was initially reluctant to lunch at Mamak but when he started on the roti chanai and then the rojak and satay , there were only compliments in between the mouthfuls.
Well done Mamak.
Please can you set up in London or Surrey ( Guildford or Weybridge ) would be fantastic.
Woking would be even cheaper overheads. Thank you.
We would love to return tonight but the renown queues trying to get in for dinner starting at 5.30pm may be too much for me to wait.

Worth it!
The queue cleared pretty quickly and I was in and eating. The best comment I can make is that if I was in Sydney for 2 nights I’d come back tomorrow and try some of the other menu items. The place was packed and the food was really yummy. Who knew that fried anchovies would taste so good??
There were lots of big groups and couples and accents from around the world. I had a great cheap eat!

Big fan of Mamak, come here all the time. Couple of Roti Canai and a dozen beef satay skewers with rice is enough to make me have to roll out of the place.
