Our son and his family took us to this restaurant for my husband's and my birthdays, along with our 22 month grandson. We were all made to feel very welcome and my grandson had a lot of fuss made over him and the staff treated him so well... As they did the rest of us. A number of Sydney restaurants in the city tend to shudder a little when they see a toddler...Neptune Palace didn't...thank you.
Now the food...it was very nice and beautifully served, with a gentle recommndation that we just might have ordered enough food haha. We took the waiters advice and he proved correct...we had plenty for 4 with 2 entrees and 4 mains and boiled rice and braised Chinese vegetables.
The Salmon with Tumeric was the pick of the night, closely followed by the salt and pepper prawns, the soft shell crab deep fried with butter milk and the lightly curried chicken.
BE AWARE that the chilli oil they pop on the table is HOT +++ but oh so tasty.
Wine was what you would expect to pay for in a city restaurant.
All in all a very pleasant evening and we hope to make it back again in the near future.
