Really glad we found this place. We shared the wonderful moussaka made with pulled brisket, eggplant and potato and the lovely red cabbage and apple salad. Finished with the baklava and chocolate volcano pudding. Enjoyed it all and will be back.

After an hour on TA, we decided to give this place a try. It was a warm Sydney evening, and we arrived at 8pm, to be promptly seated and handed menus.
A quick perusal of the fare, we decided to take their banquet 5 course, one entree, 3 mains and dessert), for two. Sounds good, but please read on.

The dishes presented as follows;
Small meze plate, (photo is here on TA), a smear of Taramasalata and Tzatziki, few triangles of Pita bread, and 5 olives.
Next came the Octopus on a bed of lentils and yoghurt. Not bad but very small serving.
Pork Belly - yes , all of two pieces, bathed in overpowering dark , overpowering "vinegar balsamic" type dressing. Spiced honey indeed?
Slow roasted lamb on eggplant puree. Our serving had no eggplant on the plate!
Potatoes and cold red cabbage and apple slaw - totally incompatible with anything on the menu.
Desserts; Lemon Curd Strudel - served warm, with a thin layer of soggy not flakey pastry. Seems to have come from a 1950's cook book. Also served with melting apple sorbet, not at all complimentary and quickly melting in the hot restaurant as the air conditioning was barely noticable. Somewhat glad as the filthy filters on the air con unit, easily visible directly above our table.
Chocolate volcano - Allegedly Valrhona, very bitter, poorly prepared and another disappointment. Served with melting strawberry jam ice cream that was separating on the plate.
We didn't eat them.
As we left the premises, one of the wait staff was kicking a cockroach out through the front door into the street!
Wait staff - pleasant and very efficient, Overall food experience? Avoid unless you want something that serves an incoherent dining experience. I suggest the positive reviews on this establishment are made by people who don't know a great deal about good food.

Without a doubt, one of the best new finds we have made this year.

I absolutely loved the food, it was fresh, beautifully flavours, and a great range of dishes that suited us all.

We were a group of 7 and chose the banquet menu. Absolutely the best choice for sure.
The home made ricotta gnocchi and ravioli were fabulous.

The restaurant staff were extremely attentive, responsive and made the overall experience a great one.

Would I recommend this to others?
Absolutely. The food really is very good and worth the visit.

Top marks.

Thank David W

I ate here for the first time a few weeks ago and enjoyed the experience - the food, wine, atmosphere and staff were all very pleasant and I look forward to returning. It was a Sunday night, so it was reatively peaceful. My only gripe would be, while the food is brought out on warm plates (the menu is based on sharing plates) you then have cold plates already set on the table for sharing onto and some food gets cold too quickly.
