Nice Trip Though we dint have any whale sightings and they have given coupon for another trip as guaranteed.
Crew was so friendly and informative. We have been there in mid November where sightings will be very less as that was end of season.

I made the tour at the end of the season mid-November, so the Whales were migrating and the chances less to spot them. Nonetheless, the crew never gave up spotting them and get closer. And we eventually spotted a few and get fairly close. Can't blame the operator for offseason, they did all they could, and I had a good time nonetheless. Recommended,

Going out whale watching in November was a risk, one that we knew and were made well aware of at the time of booking. We booked online the night before hand and saved ourselves 20% off the price, costing us $134 for two adults. We opted for the afternoon cruise, where we left circular quay, wharf 6 at 13.15 all of which was fully explained in the email confirmation we were sent.
Prior to departure we were given a weather update, advised to wear plenty of sun screen, the best places to sit if anyone started feeling seasick, as well as the regulatory safety briefing.

It didn’t take us long once leaving the harbour to find the first two whales - a mother and her calf. We stayed watching them for awhile, leaving after another craft speed by rather close to the calf spooking them. Much to the chagrin of the captain, who gave them a bit of abuse!!
We then found another pod and were rewarded with what we were all looking for, one that fully breached! A good few times too :)

A thoroughly enjoyable trip. A relaxed journey out of the Harbour to the sea. We were not guaranteed a sighting of whales but we were not disappointed! Good commentary from crew who were always on the lookout for the whales and directing you to any sightings. Would recommend this trip!

Great views of the harbor as you cruise slowly out into the ocean. We saw whales immediately. Lots of them. We also spotted seals. It was truly a day to remember. Guides were very informative. I booked the afternoon three hour cruise on the large ship. No issues booking the day of. If you get there early, you will have your first choice of seats, but don't worry if you don't. Once whales are sighted, the ship more or less stops and everyone moves around. There are no assigned seats. If you sit up top, definitely bring sunscreen. Even on this large ship, take dramamine if you are prone to sea sickness. Leaving from Sydney Harbor, as opposed to Darling, is a direct trip to the Ocean. I purchased the professional photographs on a USB drive. Snacks and beverages are available onboard. Loved it!
