The best Peking Duck in town. Sweet and Sour pork, spicy chicken, truffle dumplings when in season. This has to be our favourite winter Sunday lunch restaurant for food and cosy atmosphere. Great wine and champagne list. We have never had a bad meal here and service is very good.

FAN-TAS-TIC food and excellent service. Couldn’t fault anything. Although pricey when compared to a traditional Chinese yum cha food, but in this case you really get what you pay for.

The only very small gripe we had was not being able to find the place easily as we were overseas visitors. But that’s mainly because we were unfamiliar with the area.

Thank Arhbus

cannot fault the lovely food...enjoy the duck...but on arrival you cannot get to your table until the other party arrives...and when they are ten minutes late lady muck on the door accuse me of lying about the arrival time...while we are spending money at the bar. Then at about 930 we are told people are waiting for our table. i get that this place is popular..but they have a lot to learn....but does merivale care.

On a small side street, very big restaurant with great decor and ambiance
Lively and stylish -the place to be in Sydney
Huge selection of food and set menus
No reservations, so be prepared to wait
Very good and efficient service
On the expensive side for a Chinese restaurant but definitely delicious
No regrets

We ate here on 23 March whilst visiting Sydney from the UK having been tempted by the great reviews. Restaurant opens at 5.30 (you cannot book) and when we arrived shortly after 5.30 there was already a long queue, clearly a popular place! The food quality was outstanding as was the presentation. This was one of the best Chinese meals we have ever had, the previous reviews were clearly true. Great service and a great experience. Will definitely return again on a future visit. Not cheap but well worth it!
