The moment you step inside the gates you are transported. There are rooms within rooms & views within views. And it's all within a room in one of the busiest cities in the world, but who would know. You are transported to other worlds & other serenities. Love to go more often.

Sorry, but you can skip this one. It's a quiet little garden with green plants and fish. It will not rock your world. Perhaps if they had some sort of place where I could take a nap.

A nice quiet walk around the gardens is like going to a different planet!

Its nice and quiet in the gardens itself, there is a great pond, waterfall, tea house and many many attractions within the walls. There is a lot of information available about how the garden replicates a traditional private garden.

The tea rooms at the end of the path have a beautiful view over the "mountain" area of the garden and its great just to sit, sip some tea and enjoy the afternoon.

I love this place - beautiful gardens, a large Koi pond (well, practically a lake!) Lizards can be easily spotted basking in the sun. Beautiful Chinese decorations, and a lovely tea room. This is one of my favourite spots in Sydney. I highly recommend a visit!
