My wife and I stayed here over the Easter weekend for 3 nights. It costed us an average of $165/night for a queen size bed. The room was Ok but could be better. We thought the room was small for the price. Cabinets inside the room reminded us of IKEA products. The wear and tear underneath the "renovated" surface was quite noticeable. A/C though working was quite old. wall control was already broken.
The bathroom was annoyingly small. It reminded me of dongga bathrooms at mine camps. There was so little space to put things near the sink. I'm not that tall, only 5'10, but I'm unable to bend over inside the shower without hitting any of the side walls. I'm also able to easily reach the ceiling when I try to raise my arm. The floor tile inside the shower also need some proper cleaning as the middle part was obviously full of mold looking stains.
Plus side is they allowed us to check-in early as requested - 8AM. and the location is very accessible. A walk away from most tourist sites in Sydney.
Overall, the stay was OK. We're not really fuzzy with the little hotel details.. We're happy as long as it's clean, comfy, and price is reasonable.
