Description: Chefs Gallery is a Sydney Chinese dining experience like no other. Its exceptional menu presents masterpieces from all corners of China in a sumptuous kaleidoscopic explosion of fresh and exciting flavours, textures and aromas. At Chefs Gallery we embrace the Chinese cultural heritage of sharing meals - where dining is casual in its structure with no designated entrees or main courses. Instead, our Chapas (Chinese style tapas) offers an extensive range of creative dishes with a modern twist that are specially prepared in delicious small portions for sampling and sharing with family and friends. Among these are some traditional and familiar dishes that have also been given the Chefs Gallery Chapas treatment. The signature Chefs Gallery fresh, handmade noodles take centre stage behind the glass-walled kitchen. Patrons can watch the culinary theatre as balls of special noodle dough are transformed to form the finished twists of delicate noodles, in a blur of dexterous hand movements by the master noodle chef. From traditional noodles to new flavours like spinach and squid ink, these silken strands are all freshly prepared, being pulled, split and folded in minutes and cooked specifically to your order.

I often visit the Chefs Gallery at Macquarie Centre, but this was the first time I had visited Chefs Gallery in the city. The pork and cabbage pot stickers were the best pot stickers I have ever had, they were cooked to perfection and crispy on the outside. However, the vegetable fried rice wasn't as tasty as what i've had at the other Chefs Gallery. The food came out fast once ordered. Although took them a while to get to us to take the order.
Lovely pot stickers, would visit here again just for them!

the spinach noodles special has been steadily shrinking in volume. what used to be two pieces each of mussels, prawn and squid has been reduced to one of each. it makes one feel so oppressed.
i ordered the sticky rice and it took so long to arrive. my husband has finished his food, our neighbors on both sides of our table have finished their food, and still my order has not arrived.
twice we were told it was two minutes away, but the wait was much longer. and when it did arrive, it looked nothing like the photo on the menu, and tasted quite bland.
if a dish requires a long wait, it should be indicated on the menu.

Hi Richie,

Thank you so much for your feedback, we really appreciate it. Please accept our sincere apology regarding your recent experience with us, which is not up to our normal high standards. I have passed your feedback onto our head chef regarding the portion and our chef has confirmed that we have not decreased the portion of seafood in seafood spinach noodle. However, if you ordered seafood spinach noodle as lunch special the portion is slightly adjusted from the normal serving size. We do apologise for the late-running food and our chefs have taken note of this issue, we are working our best to make sure such events won't happen again in the future. We truly appreciate your understanding and really hope you do not judge Chefs Gallery based on this one experience. Thanks again for your feedback and wish to see you again at Chefs Gallery! Cheers.

I live in Sydney and this is one of my go-to restaurants. It features Asian cuisine with great dumplings and yummy home made noodles. This food is fresh... you can sit and watch the cooks making the noodles by hand.
You often have to wait in line if you get tgere 7pm onwards, but it usually moves very quickly.
Good drink selection, for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Efficient wait staff.
No parking on site, but it is just across the road from Town Hall train station - public transport (or taxi/uber) are the best ways to get there).
