Haeska Manor is an old manor house located very close to the Haeska birdwatching tower in the amazing Matsalu National Park. It is very quiet other than the sound of bird song. The room was clean, comfortable and functional.

The host was very welcoming and friendly and since I wanted an early start in the morning she prepared me a takeaway breakfast the night before.

Haeska Manor is highly recommended for birdwatchers and I would definitely stay again on any future visit to Estonia and Matsalu National Park.

Haeska Manor should be renamed 'Birdsong Suites.' Out in the country within a short walk to the bird watching tower of Matsua National Park, it's a peaceful place with an abundance of birds to see and hear. / Comfortable beds, great shower, and really lovely hosts. Upon request, they provided a brilliant home-cooked dinner.

Room tip: It's an old manor house, each room is different. Ask, if you have questions.

This place is like home. Tasty home cooking meal, scandinavian breakfasts, fresh vegetables and dairy products. Very clean, and quiet place for taking rest from a city rush. Wonderful owners, very helpful and attentive. Ideal as a host place for long bike trips along the Baltic seashore. A lot of migrating birds, must-visit place for birdwatching lovers.

The rooms are pretty big, they are not gorgeously designed but they are comfortable and well equipped -ours had a kitchen as well, perfect for a longer term visit- and totally quiet, due to its priviliged location. The owners are very nice and welcoming and were able to provide fantastic grilled food at absurdly short notice. We then went to one of the best watchtowers of Matsalu National Park, which is some 400 mts away from the house. The number of winged wildlife we were able to see nearing sunset in an apparently "weak" season, was amazing: geese, swans, lapwings, , curlews, WHITE TAILED EAGLE! -I simply love those- and MANY more. Thre were also extraordinary long-haired cows, like the Scottish Highland ones grazing right there. We were able to admire an awsome sunset with an elk drinking not far away. All the experience was one of the best we lived in a 10-day journey through Estonia.

Warm welcome, good confort, it takes only a few seconds to feel like at home. The room was confortable and very clean, and the breakfast offered everything we may have wanted. The wild nature around the hotel is a great show in itself.
