Very nice hotel with excellent staff but it needs to pay attention to some aspects of it’s operation.
The eating arrangements where by it is necessary to book a time in one of the two restaurants the night before , is irritating.
There is a desperate need for more sun loungers around the pool. Given this is a none beach hotel it can be very difficult to get a sun lounger at certain times. This particularly so when some very selfish guests reserve beds and then leave them unoccupied for long periods. In one case 6 hours whilst I assume they went on a trip and wanted to be sure of beds when they returned.
The rule about the none wearing of shorts by men in the bar and restaurants is a little antiquated. Good tailored shorts in my view are ‘more elegant’ then a lot of the trousers I saw, especially when jeans are allowed.
It’s is a nice hotel and the staff are very attentive. However I think they should take a leaf out of the way their sister hotel ‘ The Bel Jou’ in St. Lucia is operated. My wife and I stayed there last year and we found it superior.More
