We took our own snorkels and a short Taxi ride to the beach. Great place to snorkel and watch a beautiful sunset from the beach! There is a bar with drinks and food, you can also reserve dinner on the beach. There is a rental shop for experienced divers, but with all the rocks and coral, there was plenty to see without going too deep.
The location is far away from traffic, nestled back in a housing development. There is a per person fee for the beach, but it was well worth it.

Did not stay at the resort but might need to rethink that next time. My husband and I went to the beach and beach bar here on the second night of our vacation and that turned out to be the best idea we had. Beautiful beach, great atmosphere and exceptional customer service! I am terrible about remembering to write reviews but I HAD to post this one. At the bar, Joel really went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. He was really easy to talk to, managed to whip up a fruity cocktail that my picky self absolutely loved AND made some wonderful recommendations for scuba diving spots/restaurants/etc to check out on the island during our trip. Not only did we have a lovely time at the beach bar but his recommendations turned out to be great as well. We had an awesome vacation!

Upon check in we were told we had a 'split-booking' and had to relocate to another part of the resort to .." sample what we have" . We mentioned we already moved private business adress this year and did not want to relocate again on vacation. Front desk told us to arrange with tour operator Corendon. We did and were confirmed by Corendon to keep the same villa for the duration of of our stay. However on the 5fth day were repeatedly called by front desk why we did not check out yet. We explained we arranged with Corendon as they advised when we checked in. Front desk replied they had contacted Corendon and this was not confirmed. We learned from Corendon they never contacted them. We eventually stayed but it took us almost a day to arrange and unwanted stress.
Another issue is the garbage. We had to put up with nearly a week of piling garbage right in front of our 'villa' . Pests, thousands of flies and a horrible smell.
The villa next door was being painted. The result was loud irritating compressor noise and paint vapors and mist over our porch. This went on for the week and was still going on when we left.
Be prepared to receive towels and amenities only upon check in and no fresh ones during the cleaning days, although the used ones are removed. Use sparingly if you do not have your own. Beach towels must be changed at reception in stead of beach which can be 20 mnt walk depending where you live.
Next is the (road) construction going on: Noise and dirt clouds all week.
We found the diveshop and front desk staff unfriendly and not very cooperative.
On the sunny side: The villas are spacious, private and have a large outside. The area is well guarded and safe. Housekeeping, restaurant and gate staff are sweethearts and professionals. The beach is nice and not crowded but the pool is small.

Took a taxi from the port to beach ($20 couple) & then $8 per person for beach entry & beach chairs. Nice protected cove w/some good snorkeling (rental masks available) & not too far from the Port. Nice afternoon!

My husband and I dropped in for golf here. The course was active, and we could only get in 9 holes, but it was fabulous. A beautiful course, they drove our order of sandwiches out to us with drinks and they were delicious. He golfs and I drive, I had the most fun here! We saw a family of flamingos run over water on the last hole. It was epic! We went to Blue bay beach down the road and snorkeled after golf which was also fabulous, there's lots of chairs and service with some restaurants. They are doing a ton of new construction here! I'd make a reservation for golf, just so you could spend more time on this course.
