Life at Meditasi is pretty nice... You probably won't want to leave no matter how long you've spent there. The bamboo bungalows have a private, and unobstructed view out to the ocean, and watching the sun rise through your mosquito net in the morning is gorgeous. I think there's only 4 or 5 bungalows on site, so it's extremely peaceful and quiet, and it seemed like everyone staying there was pretty likeminded- here to relax, do yoga, eat healthy and swim in the morning.
The food is great, the service is above and beyond. The yoga is a little different to what "westerners" are probably used to, but still nice to do it outside and have a laugh at the end. Hire a scooter and head south away from Amed, to see traditional living and more beautiful views.
