We booked the Lilybank Lodge as we took our two grandsons (aged 7 and 8) to see the TT practising and visit the many sites around the Isle of Man. The lodge is quite superb, with everything you could possibly need provided. This included a loaf of bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, jams and shower gel, which was unexpected. There was even a complementary bottle of wine for us. There is parking right outside, which helped when getting our cases in and out of the car. We met the owner (Mike) and he was very helpful and checked that we had everything we needed for our stay. The location is very central on the Island and it's no more than about 30 minutes to get to the majority of the main attractions. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the Island in the future. We really could not fault anything and can genuinely recommend this as an excellent place to stay if you're planning a visit to the island.
Very convenient location very central for sight seeing in all directions. Lodge set in a peaceful & quiet area. Mike the owner was very hospitable, friendly & helpful. My husband & I had a lovely stay & would definitely recommend it to others.
Stayed here over the easter weekend .the lodge was everything it said it was. Very clean had everything you needed would highly recommend to stay here .
The lodge was very clean, efficient and cosy. We had a great three nights staying here. The owner Mike was very accommodating also.
4 of us stayed for 3 nights during October. The cabin is clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. The welcome supplies is a nice touch and ideal for those arriving late in the day.
Might we suggest the addition of a small table lamp in the lounge area to provide more “mood lighting” in the evening as currently things feel a little clinical when relaxing. This doesn’t detract from our great stay but might be welcomed by other guests.
