We had planned a rest stop during our long trip around the beautiful Morocco. We were confident that our Agency would choose for us the usual high standard solution and we made the great mistake not to verify before ... The story is extremely sad. On arrival we had to wait more than twenty minutes while the reception DESK man was TRYING TO UNDERSTAND the reason why our Booking and Payment weren't in their system. We were asked to SEND VIA EMAIL the booking to the reception!!! In the end the issue was solved and we were given our room. Standard stuff and a really unacceptable bathroom with OPEN SHOWER (neither side walls nor a simple tent). There was a small window in the bathroom but the very first time we opened it we were deadly knocked down by the smell of the plant that we discovered was installed nearby our room, just over a fence ... The plant was clearly in charge for the whole cycle of conveying and pumping the flush water of the whole hotel. The smell was persistent and it was there also the morning of the next day. The breakfast is maybe the worst thing that we will remember. All (I underline ALL) the dishes of pastries and fruit were COVERED BY MOSQUITOES (we had breakfast at 7.30). Juices were to be spilled by big Bowles ... Of course the Orange Juice was nearly empty. No coffee service but just the automatic machine (I avoid any further comment on quality and taste). The lady in charge of the omelettes cooking came in service at approximately 8.00 ... Too late to discover her ability. We passed our day in front of the Ocean. The beach is standard with no bar service. Anyway good. On the other hand pool is ridiculous. Too small, too crowded by chairs ... Absolutely no charme. We tasted the beach restaurant and this is THE ONLY, BUT REALLY THE ONLY POSITIVE POINT. Very good personnel, very good service and wonderful food. You want to know the end of the story? Second morning we were woken up by the THUMP THUMP of falling cut branches of flowers. The Gardner was working exactly on the top front of our veranda. By the way, in the first day they had simply FORGOTTEN to do our room (the maiden justified herself saying that SHE HAD SEEN THE ROOM EMPTY WITH LUGGAGE CLOSED AND SHE THOUGHT WE ... WERE CHECKING OUT).
We checked out after the second night. We were greeted by a manager who was particularly worried about our visible dissatisfaction and offered us his business card in order to give us the chance of a feedback. The feedback is this review and believe me I tried to be polite. Anyway I will ask my agency to cancel any reference about this hotel and not to suggest it to any perspective customer. We will never come back. Never again.

I spent 9 days at Paradis Plage Resort with my 2 adult daughters for our annual get-together 'girls' holiday. We had booked a 'spa and yoga' package - the ladies in the spa provided a variety of excellent massages (oils, mud, stones, steam, wraps, etc) and Carsten's super yoga classes were both relaxing and invigorating. We also went every day to the 3pm exercise session in the gym where Abdla gave us (with lovely enthusiasm and a big smile) a good range of different workouts - I've returned home in a better shape than I was at the beginning of the holiday. The only small negative was the food - one daughter is vegetarian and the choice was very limited however the kitchen was helpful and willing in adapting the menu for her, and for the other 2 of us after a week we had run out of options on the menus - a wider variety of food options would be good. One night there was a BBQ buffet which was a nice change and which also had a good vegetarian selection.

Dear Sue

First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us such a positive review.

We are glad to know you chose Paradis Plage for your annual get-together. We will definitely pass on your kind words to Abdallah and Karsten!

We are sad to hear you ran out of choices at our 3 restaurants with 4 different menus. We will definitely look into it and see how we could possibly offer more alternatives for our longer staying guests.

We cater for all dietary requirements, and upon demand our Chef is more than happy to adapt certain dishes for vegetarians, gluten free, dairy free, etc...

All in all, we thank you for your review and we hope to see you soon.

Sunny regards

We have been visiting this hotel with our 4y.o. son. It’s very nice for couples and for families with children of every age. Our room was spacious, very nice, with kitchen space and big fridge. The bathroom is not very large, nevertheless it’s nice, clean, and shower is beautiful. Good wi-fi connection in the room.
The soundproofing of the room is insufficient: you can easily hear those in the next room (but this is a constant of hotels in Morocco, even of high standing hotels).
The pools are nice. Not very big, but for us this wasn’t a problem. Poolside the space for deckchairs is a little limited and more deck chairs would be needed.
The bar, with Moroccan dinner buffet, is very relaxing, beautiful and really made us feel good. Take a drink at sunset and have dinner on this magnificent terrace is fantastic. The buffet is excellent and varied, although perhaps a little expensive (acceptable in a similar context). The bonfire that warms you up when the moon is already shining in the sky is simply enchanting and lovely.
The private beach is easily accessible, spacious and equipped of deck chairs.
Breakfast is excellent and well-assorted, with a friendly and attentive service from the hotel staff.
We have not experienced yoga and surfing.

It is certainly a nice hotel, where you feel at ease, relaxed, spending wonderful moments. Better a similar hotel, just outside Agadir, than in the city of Agadir.

Dear Guest

Thank you for taking the time to review our Ecoresort.

We are constantly trying to improve our services and your feedback is very valuable to us. We are glad to read you had a good time with your family.

We have recently reviewed the price of our Moroccan buffet while keeping the same variety and high standard of fresh organic products.

Regarding the swimming pool area, during peak season it can get a bit busier than usual, and we apologize if you did not feel at ease. We hope you will have the chance to try our private beach a few steps away from the pool.

Looking forward to welcoming you back soon.

The service was great, straff was realt service minded. Not a good surf beach but the surf guides at the hotel are great. They know where to find waves even when it looks flat. They are also professional and very friendly. Be aware of the prices for surf rental and classes. Probably among the highest in the world .

Everything was actually really nice except the food. The food was a big disappointment! Sounded good and looked good but never had any taste. They have like 4 restaurants and no one was good. Best choice is the grill menu at the beach bar. We changed hotel last two nights to get better food.

If they get a new head chef , this place would be great.

Dear Joakim,

Thanks a lot for leaving us a review!

Your opinion is very important to us and we take every feedback very seriously.

Our new Chef is doing an excellent job in improving and reviewing all the menus at all of our restaurants. However, as every new menu, it takes time to implement, change and perfection.

We will make sure we pass on your good feedback to our Surf Instructors!

Sunny regards

This was the end of the tour and although very comfortable it felt too package deal with a lot of families and European food - no Moroccan food. The suite was very nice with a sea view. Enjoyed a yoga lesson and two long surf lessons which were a lot of fun. Had a fantastic regeneration massage in the spa. It was a very comfortable stay, just wish it had been more authentic Moroccan.

Dear Emma,

Thanks a lot for taking the time to leave us a review.

We are glad to read you have enjoyed our Spa, Surf and Yoga Lessons.

During the summer season we receive a lot of locals for their holidays, so we readapt our menus in order to offer enough variety for everyone. There is also an entire Moroccan menu available at our restaurant Le 27.

We look forward to welcome you back soon to Paradis Plage.
