Description: The Antelope Inn in Lighthorne, Warwickshire is a beautiful early nineteenth-century pub set in a picturesque village, with real log fires, exposed beams and flagstone flooring. Friendly staff serving great fresh food, fine wines and a selection of real ales from local and national brewers. Daily specials and specialty nights. Reservations recommended.

Had a couple of pints here with local friends. Stayed longer. Beer was great, food, very good for a local pub. Staff super friendly!! Highly recommended.

The chicken burgers ordered, we both had to checked because we thought was pork, hand cut chips were frozen fries, we were not told this, salad dosed with dressing which was not required.
A lovely smile when I asked for discount.
Local pub, very disappointed.

Swift and pleasant service, a great choice of sandwiches with either chips or soup and some good beers. Particularly recommended is the Cumberland sausage and blue cheese sandwich!
Very nice today as this was the first lunch of the autumn sat around an open fire!

We often choose the Antelope when friends come to visit as it really has something for everyone. It was the Saturday of the bank holiday when we visited and unsurprisingly the pub was very busy - luckily we had booked. Drinks were swiftly served and menus handed out as we were shown to our table in the upstairs restaurant which is ideal for families or larger parties. At quieter times its nice to eat in the bar. Good choice of food although prices are starting to creep up. Really enjoyed my unusual tuna steak nicoise, which didn't seem to have a lot of dressing but was very tasty. Steaks and fish went down well too and they are happy to substitute ingredients if you don't like something. Great selection of ice creams and sorbets alongside the regular desserts. Lots of beers on tap too, plus unusual gins and other spirits. Only downside - and not enough to take a point off - is that the loos near the front door are ready for a refurb.

Visited last Saturday. Although this is our local and we visit often, we took my brother in law and had a lovely evening. Fish and chips as ever was excellent. I had profiteroles for dessert - a real treat
