Had an evening meal here for four and sat outside with a lovely view of the town of Casabermeja. The guy who served us was very friendly and helpful and seemed pleased one of our group had a smattering of Spanish to order. As vegetarians we accept we can't have the same choice as everyone else and the restaurant was good at putting some veggie things together for us. We thoroughly enjoyed eating here and it felt like a bit of the real Spain.

We have visited here many times. Great food and very friendly staff. Love this little village. We usually stop here on our way to or from Malaga airport. Love it.

This is a restaurant in a small strip of restaurants. It's quaint. The menu is translated ini English. My waitress tonight didn't speak English, however we got by with my non-existent Spanish (and Google translate...lol). The food was traditional. It's not 5 starts, but that's not what I was looking for. It was tasty, cooked well.... huge serves! This is the type of place that locals frequent in the afternoon and again in the evening for a late meal (around 9-11pm). They hang out in groups and smoke and chat, and laugh, and argue. It's great. Recommended for a local experience.

We called at this a few weeks ago for a drink on our way back from the coast and when we saw the meals coming out decided to make a return visit. The menu has an English translation, although the waiter spoke some English, so with our limited Spanish we managed well. The food was well cooked, hot and tasty, served by nice friendly waiter. We only had a light meal but will certainly go back for a more substantial meal in the future

Centrally located I consider "1996 Restaurante Alba" the best in Casabermeja. Large selection of breakfast sandwiches, fulfilling daily menu, many options for dinner. Delicious and generous asparagus omelette, tasty grilled Iberic pork among other moderately priced dishes. Ah, almost forgot, the unbelievable delicious Cherimoya custard (when in season). The service is friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this restaurant.
