Description: We are a tipical local seafood restaurant, worried about our friends satisfaction, thats why we only use the best quality products and ingredients. We offer a good variety of food: guacamole, shrimp quesadillas, fish fillet, ceviches and coctails, shrimps, lobster, conch and some house specialities. We also offer some drinks and coctails like margaritas, pina colada, daiquiris, cazuela with tequila, margachela (margarita with a beer), beers, sodas, fresh waters and some spirits and liquors.

We had only one night in Puerto Morelos. When we discovered that the seafood restaurant we had originally chosen for dinner was closed we went to plan B: stroll the charming little town til another spot caught our eye. When we reached El Pesquero the plastic chairs in the sand seemed familiar and we realized we had been here before (we were taken to lunch here about 6 years ago by our dive guide who had the mariachis sing to me when he realized it was my birthday. A lovely memory!)

The margaritas were excellent, strong and reasonably priced. Don't let the laid back atmosphere fool you. Our server was an old school professional with a thorough knowledge of the menu and a quiet efficiency. We followed his suggestion to order the smaller sized mixto seafood ceviche and it was more than enough - and delicious!

Margaritas are traditional. The thing that is special about this restaurant is the Mayan recipe for pumpkin seed salsa, buttery garlic shrimp and the attentive service. Get off the strip people and give this restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed! PS If you do not like your shrimp in the shell, they will serve them without the shell.

We went with friends while visiting in Playa del Carmen. Everyone enjoyed the food, and the service was friendly and excellent. Fresh catch of the day served right out of their "coolers", and got to pick just the fish that we wanted to eat that evening
