Went to get some hot food off of buffet and salad. Good stuff variety was a little low at night especially for vegan options. Overall good experience.

Whole Foods has a great vegetarian pizza. You can't beat 2 huge slices for $6. One of the other thing about this store, is that many times of the year you can get exotic fruits like Rambutans, or Jackfruit. They even have Coconuts cut up. Now this Coconut tastes nothing like dried Coconut flakes or shavings, the shell has more of a clean earthy taste. They also have a great wine and beer selection with prices being lower than Bevmo.

I'm so glad we have a Whole Foods fairly close by where we live in Santa Maria, it's nice to be able to go to a store that has a lot of healthier options and a good selection of gluten and dairy free products for people with food allergies like my husband and I. The meat department is outstanding with very friendly servers and delicious fresh meats. My only complaint is that it's not in Santa Maria but that's okay SLO isn't too far away!!

Just a little tough to get to. We enjoy shopping at the Whole Foods markets. Even though they are more expensive for groceries, we choose them as a "one-stop" site when travelling because they offer fresh, wholesome food for supper, including hot meal choices. This one still offers sandwiches made-to-order, although all of their sites seem to have moved the sandwich-making away from public "kibitzing." I feel that the portions have become less generous and they don't slather on the olive spread and red peppers the way they used to, but they're still fair. The fresh-baked bread selection thins in the evening. A too-rapid cashier charged us the twice-as-much "Danish" price for cookie bars, and the Customer Service staff gave us the whole bag free!
