We stayed here for 5 nights following 5 nights in a very wet and windy Lake Como! As soon as we hit Tuscany and the sun shone we knew it was going to be a perfect holiday!

Radda is a lovely village with a variety of restaurants and shops. The hotel is just amazing and right on the edge of the village within walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

We stayed in a suite overlooking the countryside with wonderful views from the huge terrace! The suite was spotlessly clean, well furnished and had a very large bathroom! Wifi reception very good too.

Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of hot and cold food. We had dinner in the restaurant on two occasions and the food and service was excellent...and what spectacular views from the restaurant's terrace!

Staff at the hotel are very friendly, helpful and also highly professional!

I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time at the Relais Vignale. A great community, with a great view, restaurants and very nice room to stay in. We really enjoyed our time in the heart of wine country-Italian style. Hope to keep this place on our bucket list so that we visit again.

First, it takes a great village to accomodate a great hotel like Relais Vignale... sights, history, food, and wine. We spent our first three days of a bike adventure in Radda. The other two stops/hotels were very inferior to Relais Vignale. Nice rooms, perfect location, excellent food & wine - they have it all!

Excellent choice in the Chianti region. The location of the hotel is simply perfect, in a nice little village and yet close enough for day-tours to Florence, Siena, St. Gimignano, Arezzo...and of course the castles and wineyards around the area.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, a quiet and charming noble house which makes you travel back several years. The service is excellent and the breakfast terrace has amazing views to a wineyard. The food served on the breakfast is typical tuscan and home-made. The rooms are correct (austere though very clean and quiet).

The price was on our upper range but we were very extremely happy of the choice. We would definitely repeat and recommend.

Also worth mentioning. Just across the street there is a humble pizza place. Definitely the best pizza we ate in Italy.

We have been to the Tuscany region of Italy several times. Staying in Montalcino, Montepulciano, Florence and other hill towns. We selected the town of Radda because we were going with six friends that had never been to Tuscany and I wanted to be able to easily explore the area by car. The hotel selection was secondary to the overall location. What a tremendous surprise! Our friends couldn't believe the hotel. The layout, views from the rooms and terrace, the food, rooms and the service. By far the best we had experienced in Tuscany. The website just doesn't capture it all. Located on the edge of town with it's own private (free) parking lot. It was great for day trips. The buffet breakfast on the terrace overlooking a valley full of vineyards and olive groves had us all in awe. We would strongly recommend it to anyone that appreciates small, clean extremely beautiful hotels.

Room Tip: Superior rooms have fantastic views and are quite large for Euope with very nice bathrooms. Excellent A/C.
