We stayed here in May 2017. Firstly the good bits... This is a beautiful hotel, good staff, incredible spa (one of the best we've ever been to; 2 saunas and a turkish bath / steam room, and a fantastic Jacuzzi), the room was very nicely furnished and comfortable. The pool was lovely, great outdoor facilities for sunbathing, and good information about local vineyards. Tip: Make sure you go for the 10 EUR wine tasting! The wine they served was very good and came with good bruschetta / snacks.

However... for a 4* hotel the food served for meals was unacceptable. Breakfast may have been OK at 7am but by 9am most of the items were stale (bread) or completely finished. When a dish was finished, they didn't replace, just removed it entirely, or left it there empty. One morning we were out of cheese, salami, tomatoes, pesto, sauteed veg, almost all bread, fruit salad (there was a rotten orange on the fruit stand), and the scrambled egg was burnt and inedible every morning.

As other reviews have indicated the bar food they serve is also not good. The pasta was overcooked and lacking in taste. This is a remote location and no nearby restaurants, so the hotel could make a decent profit by investing in a good restaurant. I don't understand why they don't... We ate in our rooms the next 2 nights, and to be fair the hotel were great in supplying plates, knives etc.

The bathroom, whilst well furnished, could have been maintained better. The toilet was leaking one morning, also the wash basin poured water onto the floor if water was left in it and the shower screen did not work; the floor was swimming in water after every shower.

The wifi was also incredibly slow, where we could get a connection.

A mixed stay and overall we did enjoy our time there. If the food situation could improve we'd come back without hesitation; hopefully the owner can take on board some constructive comments and not just rant at me for the negative parts of my review...

We recently stayed at the Villa Campomaggio Resort and loved it. The property was amazing, so warm, so welcoming, so incredibly beautiful. The staff were so friendly and very helpful, as they gave recommendations on places to visit and where to eat. They even made all of our reservations. The breakfast was good and the cappuccino the best I've ever had. Happy Hour in the evening was so enjoyable, with small bites and always good wine. The room had a beautiful view of the pool and gardens and had a huge terrace with a french door that opened up to it. The weather was cool so we kept the windows open and had a beautiful breeze come through the room.
I can't say enough good about this property.
Thank you Denise for all your kindness and help. We hope that one day we will return to the area, and again enjoy this beautiful property.

Room Tip: Room 33 had a amazing view and extremely large terrace.

We visited Villa Campomaggio with my boyfriend in April 2017. The experience was great; room was clean and cute. The hotel staff was so friendly and service oriented. We got good tips for restaurants and wineries nearby. The Spa was great and relaxing, I recommend to try it! I would definately visit again!

The hotel has an amazing property, a villa with great views and location. Its a bit remote so best advised to have own conveyance while stay. The staff was amazingly friendly and provided us with all the help wrt food, renting a Vespa etc. There is a small wine tasting organised daily in the evening. The
