We came to Residence and Spa Hotel for a couple of nights and ended up staying on and off for approximately 6 weeks. We have been extremely happy with our stay in the hotel. Hotel staff particularly the reception staff have been excellent. The restaurant offers very fine meals and the spa is a necessary visit. We highly recommend this hotel when in st Petersburg it is a distance from the CBD however the train close by makes this unimportant. Repino is a very good suburb and has the necessary fresh air for a longer stay in a large city.

On one hand, it is brilliant a location. On the other hand, very strange design - a renovated old Soviet building but stuffed with fake baroque furniture and fake antique mirrors. The place for the meeting was not heated good enough for the end of December.
But what was really shocking is almost transparent doors in the toilets; when I told about it, the staff person at the reception answered that there was no problem in the fact that other people can see you when you are inside the toilet cabin.
