!!AWSOME!! is the word for our experience.

The property is excellent..be it its infrastructure ....be it its staff .be it.food...its private beach..its gardens ..it looks like a beautiful set of a movie..everything seems to b in place.

As u enter the property The reception gives you the FAIR idea of the grandeur of the hotel. Its so nicely planned and organised. Its infrastructure is marvel.and everything is mantained properly...its so heritage and contemporary both at same time..rooms are very comfortable ...its a complete masterplanned town in itself..hats off to the mgmnt.

However somethings are not very appealing to me .The travel desk guys need to be more professional..they completely lack it ..also the buffet breakfast time is the chaos time ..may be because the guests outnumbered the covers. And have very little choice on the room service menu..need to be more varied.

But the staff u guys have is very efficient and they will always try to make u feel happy and satisfied ...special thanks to Mr Naidu from F&B service .for taking special care ..its truly touching.. .yes i am very happy with the stay .

Will visit u soon again.

Room tip: its a personal choice and budget.

The grand hyatt what can i say fantastic with only one draw back they are expensive for drinks and food so i advise a trip to outside the hotel and go to the fantastic restaurants but use the cabs outside the hotel and haggle it does save you money
.If you want a drink while in the hotel go to the shack up the beach friendly and cheap for kingfisher 100 rupee for a large bottle when its 350 for a small bottle in the hotel.
The only other failing is the reception staff on arrival and departure they add things to the bill which you haven't used or consumed and are not helpful in trying to sort it out and heaven forbid if you want to stay on in the room of the day of departure but thank goodness we found a lovely manager who resolved the problem for us with out hesitation.
If you intend going and haven't visited Goa before do not book with Thomas cook as there was no representative there to help but having been numerous times i can find my own way round so not a problem for me
The rooms were impeccable and the staff were fantastic and always willing to help, the restaurant that is worth the money is the Indian ....brilliant to say the least and the waiters were great fun and love the banter with you.
All i can say is i will be returning asap

Room tip: all rooms were brilliant i personally like it quite so block 6 for me

This was our second trip back to the Grand Hyatt we was there last March and stayed there this March arriving home on the 24th after a lovely 2 weeks.

The hotel is wonderful and most of the staff was amazing especially our room attendants Mukesh, Keshace, Robin and Sudhanshu. They left our room spotless and they made great things from towels ;0. They was so attentive and brought ice to the room as it was so so hot. Great Guys Room 6015.

Maria Estibeiro was such a great help to us guys as there was a mix up with the time we needed to vacate the room and she made sure she did her best so we wasn't kicked out at 2 pm in the afternoon and with a flight at 3 am the following morning she was a blessing.

The pool bar guys where great and did a great job so was the morning breakfast staff. They all do such a great Job.

The Indian restaurant served us wonderful food Alex was Great so was the the other staff.

There are a few things which I was not happy about, One being The reception staff.
Now bearing in mind this hotel is far from cheap but at times we was made to feel rather not worthy of our 2 week stay at the Hyatt. I put it down to miss communication. One being we was told we could keep our room until 10pm and when we doubled checked there was no knowledge of this unless we paid nearly £50 pounds for half a day stay,(Last year we was able to stay until 6pm which was great) Secondly how we was nearly double charged for a mini bar item which in terms nearly came to £10 pounds for an item we did not have. It was all questions and trying to make out we was lying. They do seem to like to add on lots of charges. This should not happen

I also believe there is no rule to which transport you arrive in at the hotel. One evening we choose to come home by the rickshaw which was great fun! Shame we was questioned by the security guards as they did not like that at all. Its not like we went into the hotel but arrived outside. Such acts like this they do not like I guess so it does taint the Grand Hyatt Image. They made us feel rather unworthy.
Maybe if this is the image they want to keep stop the ones who come from North into the Hotel for a day and use the pool with their 20 kids and wash in the bathrooms and make a mess. There was far more worst guest than us arriving in a tut tut.

We will not be booking again with Thomas Cook as their care to customers is non existent. A shambles.

We will be back next year as it is a wonderful hotel and a great base to explore Goa. We will book through the hotel and use our reward points if I can ever log onto the website to register my membership. Overall a beautiful place to stay just stop a bit with the snobbery.

Also I am looking for Alan and Carol who we met on this holiday I did wait at the airport to say Bye but they never came through

Wow. Firstly, the property is very beautiful. And to add to that the staff at grand Hyatt Goa is incredible. Matias and Steffi went out of their way to make our wedding night there quite spectacular. From a super luxurious grand suite to special arrangements in the room to make it especially romantic and welcoming, they spared no expense. Their thoughtfulness was evident as well. Very grateful, and definitely recommend to others.
