Our Accounting Section (30++pax) had our team building, spent overnight in this place...In each villa there's a mini-pool for your own use. And there's that big swimming pool across the villas. You can do your walking in the morning....quiet and safe place. There's always a guard for everyone's safety.. There's a nearby fun area....where you can enjoy zipline,,,obstacle course....mudslide, etc. But the most fun of all is the nearby Ambon Ambon Falls....where you can walk-trekked it for 30-40 mins...and enjoy the place be it taking photos or take a shower from the falls.

Our group decided to go there for our outing. We paid full price and made reservations one month before only to find out later that Metro Deal is offering the same day tour package at less than one third the price we paid for. We asked the management if we can somehow convert to this package. we were not asking for a refund, only that some of what we paid for can be converted into something else that the resort can offer like food, or other amenities, but the answer was a flat no.
We decided to push through with our reserved date, to see one disappointment after another. First was with the trek to ambon ambon falls. The deal was that they will provide a guide for our group. Apparently there was only one guide for the whole morning trek, and they made us wait until they fetched every body to the staging area before starting the trek.
After the trek was the pugad lawin adventure park, hah, with no guide.
One of our friend sustained a scraped elbow during the mudslide and they cannot provide first aid, they don't even have a first aid kit. There's no horseback riding, yet there are so many horses loitering in the area. Why can't they harness these to provide the services they promised? Amansinaya's rates a a big rip off.
The shower and comfort rooms are very untidy.

One tip: The highlight of going there, the Ambon-ambon falls is a public place. Anyone can go there like the other people we met during the trek. Go there instead of passing thru Amansinaya. there are locals offering parking space, park there and just trek your way to the falls.

This is the most terrible and ridiculous resort I've ever been. The facilities are not working, especially the toilets, no water on some parts. Not health friendly and no privacy at all. No cottages and friendly staffs. This resort is a total crap. Don't waste your money on this resort. Think 100times before you decide.

We had our summer outing in Amansinaya. What's great about this resort is that it offers a lot of fun activities that's great for company team buildings.

First, we had the trekking activity to the Ambon-Ambon falls. After 45 minutes of walking and crossing the river 4 times, we reached the falls. I'm just saddened by the fact that the whole area isn't maintained well (special shout out to the Laurel government, not the Amansinaya management in particular). The path to the falls is littered with wrappers of potato chips and candies. I really believe that tourists locals alike contributed to the rubbish.
The way to the falls and the falls itself provides a very scenic and magnificent view. The water is cool, but not so clear. The swimming area is just shallow, so kids will definitely enjoy this. But you really can't do laps in such depths.

After coming back to the resort, the next activity included an obstacle course. It surely was a fun and challenging experience great for team building. One can get down and dirty and have great fun. They also have a zipline, though i think its not that high and not that long. It's good for kids, but certainly not for more adventurous souls searching for greater heights. You can also do wall climbing. It's my first time so I enjoyed it.

Another attraction is the mudslide. I think it's 200-300 meters long slide, where you have a big splash in the mud at the end. Our group had a lot of fun with this.

Next is the aquapark, or the swimming area. It's big enough and the deepest level is 5ft. It is child-friendly with slides and shallow depths at the sides. There is another pool at the main office. This one overlooks the mountains a provides a very good scenic view. The pool waters are good, not too much chlorine and not too stingy in the eyes.

When it comes to resorts, I'm very particular about their toilet areas. Their comfort rooms are not well maintained, with little water pressure and a bit dirty. They also did not provide soap and shampoo. So this one a big deal breaker for me.

As for the service, it's ok. The staff is courteous and accommodating. Though I just wished they turned on the air conditioning in the dining hall because it was a very hot day (and we just came from trekking!).

As for the food, it's decent enough but nothing's extraordinary.

One nice thing here is that there are a lot of fruits you can buy from locals, from jackfruit, guyabano, siriguelas and mangoes for a reasonable price. (TIP: wait out until the end so that you can haggle with the price, even at 50% discount)

It sure was a fun experience, but the management can still do a lot more in maintaining the area if their goal is to be one of the best mountain resorts out there.

I will never forget the day we went to Amansinaya. It was a long drive but so worth it. If you crave for an exciting and unusual experience, try them! We love the mudslides, Pugad Lawin (adventure park) and trekking activity. The staff also made our trip one for the books, everyone's so jolly and attentive, special mention to our trek guide who has been very mindful to us all throughout the trek. Ambon-Ambon Falls is truly majestic, felt like I'm one with the nature!
