Our recent trip to Italy included a wonderful evening at this old monastery restaurant. We called on a Monday and restaurant opened only for our group of 6 adults and 5 children.

Food was excellent and the owner recommended us the best local dishes. As well the wines were awesome!

This place is worth the drive even from Turin!

Tasty and great food within a friendly and nice place. The location is very relaxing and amazing with several terrasse and little chamber decorated in an old fashion. Food focused on local speciality is great, fresh and tasty.

The trip to get there is really worth it. Located in the Canavese hills (in the Piedmont region of Italy), this stylish restaurant is set in an ancient monastery. The location is elegant and comfortable. The staff is very professional and helpful. The dishes are presented with care and fantasy, the food is cooked to perfection, the tastes of flavors are well calibrated. Being in one of the most important wine regions of Italy, the wine list is rich and interesting. Lovely experience to repeat.

We were recommended to this 'slow food' restaurant, and it exceeded all our expectations. The menu is entirely in Italian, but the owner helpfully translated where required. Produce is local and freshly cooked, pasta is made in house, the olive oil was pressed from his own olives (a blend of four named olive varieties), plates were garnished with edible flowers and leaves from the garden etc. The wine list was regional and very extensive, and - having considered our food orders - it was good to be recommended an excellent complementary bottle at 12 euros.

We passed this place when biking in Piemonte. The owner is very friendly and offers a typical Italian lunch for 12 euro. Nice terrace and one of the only places in our day trip with this offer. Recommended for a lunch stop.
