The Hotel was idillic and the view from our bedroom stunning. The housekeeping/catering staff were wonderful and jolly and always greeted you with a smile - its just a pity that the Restaurant Manager in his endeavours to "run a tight ship" came across as quite sharp and surly to his customers with the exception of what appeared to be some of his more "favoured" regulars and friends.
We only booked for a week and chose the Bed and Breakfast option. The continental buffet breakfast supplied was more than sufficient and excellent quality. The lunch menu and the evening a-la carte menu were phenomenal! Excellent quality, presented beautifully and tasted divine!
Was there a downside? Maybe one...........the pillows were too firm and the rooms could have benefitted from a few pictures on the walls......other than that....nothing.
We are cetainly returning next year but for two weeks this time.More
