FOOD: basic and often recycled but everyone can find something suitable. Nothing fancy but ok.
STAFF; friendly and helpful
swimmingpool: indoor and outdoor. Great views. Indoor with salt water, heated. very clean.
Hotel is in the middle of nowhere close to gozo ferry terminal. Easy access to Gozo. We had a car so not sure how the local transport works.
Internet costs extra if wanted in a room, free at the reception area.
Entertainment is crap.
If u are looking for relaxing , quite holidays this is the place.

This is situated near the Gozo ferry terminal so handy for a trip there - otherwise it is at the very northern tip of the island - there are buses but a car is useful.
There is some work going on at present so it is a bit noisy and dusty on the ground floor but the indoor pool is so lovely this compensates. The dining room is ok and the menu good but again some work is going on on the adjoining terrace so there is noise again. The reception staff are very pleasant and the rooms are nice.

Just returned from a fabulous vacation here at Paradise Bay Hotel.
Reception was wonderful especially the lovely Vicki who always goes above and beyond to ensure my stay is a good one.
The restaurant and food are outstanding, probably the best on the island. I stayed half board on this occasion and was extremely impressed with the level of service and quality of food provided.
Public transport is cheap and you can travel to most parts of the island from bus stop just across from the hotel which is conveniently situated close to the Gozo Ferry.

Room Tip: Bay view rooms are best, but all the rooms are good .

My wife and I spent a week at Paradise Bay and had a pleasant stay.
The food was good and the location good for buses and ferries to Gozo.

It was disappointing to have so much building work going on near the dining room with dust and noise...

What was very noticeable however was that very seldom would any of the Hotel staff smile and be friendly?

We had a good walking trip with John McIntyre to Gozo one afternoon. He is very knowledgable and a great character!

My husband and I stayed here for one week February 17th 2017. The hotel was lovely, clean, and even though there was building work going on inside this didn't affect us greatly, apart from one day we had come back mid morning and there were old carpets laid in the corridor and rooms were having balconies removed. A heads up would have been a nice touch as the dust was rather awful but we carried on. We had a road view room and the rooms are massive but mattress was so uncomfortable, only down side to room. We realised the back views would have been lovely but my husband loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ferries come and go to Gozo. We actually visited Gozo 4 times in total as it was so handy just popping over. Hop on hop off tour bus to Gozo was brilliant, we arranged there as easy to sort once off ferry, we paid 10 euros each. We did book a cruise to Comino and this was a mistake as we were transferred to Sillema and sailed out to Comino which was the most awful crossing ever. Yes you can't do anything about the sea and weather but we went as the excursion included drinks but feeling so sick you don't enjoy. We should have (in hindsight) just walked up to the ferry port and got one of the little boats over to Comino but hey , you live and learn. We had b&b and couldn't fault the food, lots to choose from. We ate in the A La Carte restaurant which was wonderful until one evening my husband ordered the tandoori chicken and it was burnt to a crisp. We did complain straight away but were only offered a coffee in return. My husband was really annoyed by this as we had eaten there every lunch and dinner and suffice to say we never ate there after that.
First time in Malta and we got about very easy on the buses, we visited Gozo, Sillema, Buggiba and Rabat and M'dina. I personally preferred Gozo as it was like going back in time but Paradise Bay is a good stay for convenience to Gozo and the north of the island. Please be aware there is nothing else there, apart from a little café hut by the ferry port which was lovely and did lovely drinks and pasties.
