The receptionist welcomed us with the words”do you realise that this is your 8th visit to our hotel” . Yes, this is truly a wonderful hotel. The location is fantastic, the promenade is right on the doorstep and the trendy shops and restaurants are a stones throw away. But you won’t need to eat out as the hotel restaurants are brilliant with lots of options and show cooking daily. The rooms are modern and spacious, the gardens are exemplary and the pools are are super. We used the infinity pool which was adults only and the adjacent Purple Bar was well used. There are other pools for families and a children’s pool for the tots. The entertainment team are on site from 10am until late and are thoroughly brilliant. Every night there is a live band (different most nights) on the terrace for dancing or just chilling. Three is also live entertainment in the theatre with the entertainment team With occasional professional acts. We really enjoyed the reps ABBA tribute. The staff are all friendly and attentive and nothing is a problem. All in all a great two weeks as per usual. Look forward to next years visit.

Room tip: Ask for a garden view.

This hotel is fantastic. It has really smart pools, gardens, rooms, reception, great staff everything is really immaculate. The food is way above what we are used to and we have done many Tui all inclusive holidays and cruises. The only thing that was a problem for us was the evening entertainment. The early entertainment in the evening is all outside and in November that can be bit cool. Also despite smokers being on one side you still get the rotten smell drifting your way. Also some of them don’t notice the different areas so smoke in the non smoking area. The staff do sort it out eventually. The staff here are all really great. The later inside entertainment was circus, dancers etc that we weren’t interested in. We would have liked it more if entertainment was more varied singers / bands and be inside not outside.

Stayed at this hotel 9 years ago and enjoyed it very much returning in October/November was not a disappointment the hotel had taken on a new modern look with a huge refurbishment.
Staff and attention to detail were excellent as on our previous visit.
Great choice of bars and restaurants serving a variety of food and international drinks.
We ate in all three specialty restaurants which were very good we particularly enjoyed the Asian.
Buffet restaurant was good but quite noisy food not always hot.
Our room with garden view was excellent 3051 with everything you needed plus kept spotlessly clean.
The only minor niggle in our 10 day holiday was the constant reservation of sun beds from very early every morning
and spotted beds reserved the previous night when leaving the Purple Bar. Think bed police should be introduced.
However this would not stop us visiting the hotel again.

We have just returned to the UK having spent a wonderful time at this hotel. Wow spacious, airy, light with beautiful grounds.
Our reception was completed quickly & efficiently by a very pleasant member of staff. As it was our first stay here he took the time to explain the hotel layout, meals, bars, restaurants, amenities & our room facilities. He generously booked us into the specialist evening restaurants.
Our spacious room was impeccably clean and well stocked with toiletries, towels, refreshments in the minibar and tea & coffee drinks. House keeping maintained the room to a very high standard, with regular changes of bedding and towels. Loads of storage and a safe at no extra charge. It was always a pleasure to return to an immaculate room, having spent a day touring & walking.
Dining in any of the restaurants was a gastronomic delight with a wide choice of freshly prepared dishes from either serveries or cooking stations. If you stayed for months you need not repeat the same meal. As we like to try different cuisines we were never disappointed by the excellent quality or quantity of the meals. We enjoyed the al fresco eating areas as they had relatively quiet ambience. The staff were very friendly, polite and attentive in providing an excellent dining experience.
The Atlantico is worth booking for Canarian and Grill cuisines - The Kaori for an Asian style cuisine. Again fantastic meals and staff. El Patio and Las Dunas restaurants provide an extensive menu of excellent foods to suit all tastes. One has to remember that the hotel has International guests. Deserts left you wanting more but the waistline had to be considered.
The grounds are home to excellent pools, bars, snack stations, entertainment & well organised activities. You could join in the activities or just chill out on one of the many pool side loungers.
The bars have self service soft drinks machines and beer on tap. The bars are well stocked and run by extremely friendly staff who do appreciate you making the effort to order in Spanish. They help you to improve your Spanish pronunciation and vocabulary.
To sum up our stay, a wonderful week in an excellent hotel, with a very positive experience. Would we go again? certainly, dates have been pencilled in for next year.

The only adverse criticism we have, is the smoking policy in the al fresco areas. We had the unfortunate experience in Las Dunas to be surrounded by smokers at breakfast. Non-smokers and families enjoy open air dining but it can be unpleasant if a guest decides to fumigate the seating area. Perhaps under EU rules non smoking should include all eating area facilities.

Room tip: Request a High & Quiet Garden View Room
