This hotel is a nice setting alongside a river with footpaths and cycle paths right alongside,
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff very very helpful, though they have to look after the bar and reception, not easy when the hotel is full !
I spent two nights here, first night the hotel offered a good choice on the menu or a very reasonably priced dinner buffet which was excellent.
On the Sunday night, despite there being a group of 23 hungry and thirsty Brits and another group of 12 Finn's on top of the other guests, there was no food available ?
The lovely young lady running the bar/reception allowed both groups to bring take-away pizzas back to the hotel and sit in the bar, and she even cleared up after us.
Other issues, no TV remote control in room, unable to open windows, they were locked so heaven forbid a fire. Again the very helpful receptionist looked for a window key, but to no avail.
So a hotel with great potential, with suburb staff, badly managed.

Room Tip: Dont stay on a Sunday if you wish to eat !

This is a very nice hotel. I have stayed here several times the past years. It is not brand spanking new, but it is clean and the service is exceptional. It beats all the hotel-chains in the city by far.
Restaurant is very good and breakfast is nice.

Good and comfortable hotel bit outside the city center. Good walking paths out in the parks. Flying disc course is near too. Hotel is bit old but it's renovated. Our room was very nice and comfortable, shower room was bit small. Free parking.

Hotel located a bit outside Seinäjoki. You better have a car if you should stay here.
The people working in the hotel ate very friendly and holding a great customer service level. The girl serving in the restaurant did a great job.
Great price. Rooms were ok but nothing fancy. Parking really close to entrance which is great.
Sauna every evening but it is given in finland

Sorsanpesä is an Osthrobothnian classic, today it is an OK hotel with a somewhat retro feeling to it. Location is a few kilometres outside of town centre. Upside of that is nice walking or running paths along the river, downside is that there is practically nothing within walking distance. The best feature however was the extremely helpful and friendly staff, which lifts my personal overall rating from three dots to four.
