We stayed here for 2 nights with our 7 month son, along with some friends who were also attending a wedding with us in Lechlade which is a 5 minute drive down the road.

We were greeted in the car park before we had even unloaded and taken inside the house which was just beautiful, like an old farm house, and decorated accordingly with in keeping furniture and decor. We were offered tea and cakes, more than we could eat which was a lovely way to arrive.

Our bedroom was huge, and even with the travel cot put up there was still a large amount of room to move about, even with the HUGE bed and an armchair and sofa.

Breakfast was again more than we could eat with a monster selection of pastries, cereals, freshly made bread and a cooked breakfast. They even went to the trouble of getting in kids food especially for the children.

The service was just wonderful all the time and we were generally made to feel like we were part of the family. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, it was a beautiful home in a beautiful part of the countryside which was worth every single penny. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Room Tip: Double rooms are all have king sized four poster and are all very very large .

I stayed at this wonderful B&B this week having booked last minute (the week before). I throughly enjoyed my stay and was made to feel extremely welcome.. the rooms were amazing.. a four poster bed. The two bathrooms are shared by 3 bedrooms.. this is a 400year + house - they didn't have ensuites back then and they have kept all the original features of this wonderful old house. There is a drawing room downstairs for guests to use and the breakfast room is just a touch of class. Breakfast was as fresh as the eggs collected that morning from the chooks in the garden.. keep your eye open for the peacocks... plenty of parking round the back. Lovely walks just 5 minutes from the B&B, along the river Thames and the Buscot Locks... I would certainly recommend this wonderful B&B...

Excellent place to stay, friendly and cosy, good comfy beds, wonderful host, a stones throw from the Thames and buscot lock, well worth to stay, would definitely stay again. Excellent welcome from our host Romney.

Room Tip: All rooms have four poster beds.

This was amazing. Our all-too-brief stay was like being house guests of friends we'd not yet met and the differences from a bland sterile hotel chain experience were positively refreshing. The lack of en suite bathroom, wi-fi and bar were actually positives, their absence adding to the charm and hospitality of this extraordinary place, perfect for a proper break. The period features (the immense four-poster beds amongst them) were numerous and the cooked breakfast (including eggs from the friendly chickens) quite honestly could not have been better. The set-up lent itself to easy interaction with other guests which was also a bonus. And all wrapped up in the warm, generous and good-humoured hospitality of our hostess. Terrific.

Room Tip: No advice needed - all the rooms are super.
