Booked this hotel due to good reviews and were not disappointed.

We were in a garden room which was comfortable and spotless. Staff went out of their way to be helpful and service excellent. Breakfast was good, ate in Fusion one evening which was very good.
The lovely garden could be walked through to get to the beach, about 5 mins away. There were always plenty of sunbeds available despite people putting towels on those around the pools and not using them for hours!

The hotel is a short walk from the marina where there is a choice of good restaurants.

We would happily stay here again.

This is my second time staying at this hotel - my previous stay was 3 years ago hence I returned hoping for the same experience if not one which was an improvement on last time.

I have recommended various friends to this hotel in the past, all of whom have had positive experiences however in honesty I was disappointed.

Firstly, I'll point out the positives:
- The spa facilities and indoor pool are fantastic as is the scenery within the complex.

- The location of the hotel is fantastic in relation to the Marina.

- The outdoor pools are pleasant and the hotel appears to be very family friendly.

As for the negatives:

- From what I recall, the room we were provided with on a previous occasion was much nicer. We were staying in room 016 on this occasion which was far from modern.

- The sunbed situation ruined the holiday. After returning from breakfast at 10am there was not one bed by the any of the pools which was highly irritating.

- The food at breakfast was good, at dinner (Fusion) was plentiful however above average and at lunch, in honestly was of a cafe standard. No real quality, average service and food which was far from an experience.

- Finally after altering my flights to stay at the hotel an extra two days, I asked the reception for a cost for a room which was highly excessive and more expensive than online rates.

Overall I had a pleasant stay however I left feeling quite disappointed.

In regards to the reservation of sunbeds in the pool area. We kindly inform that our esteemed guests are recommended to avoid the reservation of sun beds and sun chairs in the pool area for the comfort of all guests. We have a large number of places around the pool, and separate areas located throughout our gardens have been created for the comfort our guests. Our Pool team is more than happy to help our guests find their sun chair and enjoy the sunshine.

We welcome your comments concerning our Pool Bar – Blue Lagoon which offers a wide variety of snacks and cocktails throughout the day. We also offer a separate menu for lunch for guests who prefer an alternative to our snacks. We share your disappointment concerning the aspects you have risen and would like to understand in detail your experience at this Food & Beverage outlet.

We have also taken note of your comments concerning room rates and we kindly inform that rates will fluctuate in agreement to our occupancy. Third party online services have access to contracted rates due to their volume and we welcome our guests to compare which offer is more suitable.

Just returned from a weeks holiday in the lake resort and it was wonderful.
We stayed on the 4th floor overlooking the pool, lake and had a sea view.
The staff are so helpful and welcoming and pleasant.
The breakfast was excellent, great choice and a really relaxed atmosphere.
Marina and beach only a few mins walk away.
A good gym and the spa was lovely.
The hotel was well ran and spotlessly clean.
I would really recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.

This is my second time at the resort.

As per my previous comments in September 2015, the WIFI connectivity remains an issue. There is virtually no connectivity pool side for my 5 days.

During the stay, there were a group of lads (10-12) who consistently played loud music and wanted to provide us with full details on their previous evenings activities. These guys were your typical english lager louts and this resort doesn't need that type of character. We suffered them for a few days, before they seemed to magically disappear.

Finally, the towels on sunbed situation was a joke. The resort states a policy that towels will be removed from sunbeds if the sunbeds were unoccupied for 2 hrs. The vast majority of sunbeds had towels covering them by 9am and I can verify that huge numbers were unoccupied for the majority of the day.

Blue & Green, you need to up your game if you want this to remain as one of the more stand out locations in Vilamoura.

Visited the hotel end of June beginning of July we stayed in a double panoramic room on the 2nd floor. Gorgeous room everything you need and more.
Hotel staff exceptional spa facilities amazing had a Jasmine experience massage...gorgeous and very relaxing.
Breakfasts were very varied lots of choice and excellent quality. Enjoyed a gorgeous bucks fizz on a couple of days.
5 minute walk to the beach and beautiful landscaped gardens to walk around.
5 minute walk to the marina and there is a multitude of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.
Would highly recommend for a relaxing and stress free break.
