We were really very pleased with our 3 night stay. We had a large room on the top floor with a large balcony and airconditioning which worked very well - thankfully! All the staff were extremely helpful at reception and in the cafe bar where you have to go for a very pleasant and reasonable tea or coffee because there is no kettle in the room, just a mini bar. Breakfast was extensive with a good range of fresh fruit, juices, eggs meats, breads and cereals overlooking the terraced garden. The hotel is well located and quiet with two frequent buses into the old town ( it was too hot to walk 30+ C and quite a long way). The hotel is next to a huge Carrefour supermarket open 7 days, with some restaurants nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel which enabled us to really explore the outstanding Roman ruins at Merida. Highly recommend.

Hotel is new. Everything is clean and neat. Next to shopping center and McDonald and other restaurants. Center to Merida where attractions are roughly 1 mile. It was bit far to walk to attractions. Hotel is new and has friendly staff. We ate dinner at hotel and was reasonably priced.

Room Tip: Only thing was missing from room was clock. Don't forget to bring clock.

Lovely spacious rooms but a small table and chairs are needed on the balcony as it would be very pleasant to sit outside when possible to eat and have a drink.
Overall this is an excellent hotel which is always a pleasure to visit.
Thank you.

Room Tip: A small table and chairs are needed on the terrace.

Set on the outskirts of Media quite stylish Hotel with a cinema opposite and a Large supermarket and Mc'Donalds 5 mins away on the other end of the block easy access to the old Roman town and the ruins there in(tip take passport if pensioner and buy a block ticket for several sites at half-price) the sites are mostly within easy walking distance of car park by roman bridge 3 euros 50 for 4hours.
The hotel dinning was ok limited menu but in English staff very friendly and helpful found out our first names after dinner and wrote them in the foam on the top of our coffees You have dinner in the bar bur breakfast in the Dinning room seems funny but not a problem we all had a fantastic time and will return again

Room Tip: as with most hotels try to stay as far from lifts as possable

I was travelling on my bike up the A-66 from Gibraltar to Santander. The hotel was ideal, It was just of the road and situated on the edge of the beautiful Roman town. The decor of my room was quite dated but perfectly functional, although I could hear my neighbours TV. Parking underground was great at a small extra charge, although parking outside was free. There wasn't much in the immediate area except a few shops which was great for me to stock up for the next day.

The main town itself is about a 20-30 minute walk in a straight line from the hotel. Upon reaching the river, you encounter the Roman Bridge into the town which makes the walk worth while.

For me, a passing biker it did exactly what I needed for a very good price. Would highly recommend for anyone partaking in a similar trip.
