This hotel was very reasonably priced and close enough to walk to several attractions. The accommodations were clean. Though it was a basic place, it was still nice at a great price and the reception staff were very friendly.
There was no designated parking but I was fortunate enough to find a spot across the street in front of the hotel.
Great option if you're passing thru town or plan to spend most of your time out in the town.

We stayed two nights, the hotel is clean, comfortable.. the receptionist Barbara is wonderful, her restaurant recommendations were great. The bed was comfortable, the bolster pillow was not good, but the hotel provided a smaller pillow on request. The position is perfect for visiting the town and the sights. Car parking is on street, but was easy.. the local graffiti is a little off putting. So why 4*? It was nearly only 3* ... on Saturday night it was hot, no aircon as it is ´winter' so we had to have the windows open... the local disco bashed away until about 2am, so sleep was impossible. Fortunately there were quiet on Sunday night. Hotels need to allow aircon even if it pushes the price up a little, saying open the window is not good enough. I doubt we will return.

The receptionist was cheer- and helpful. The room clean, but slightly small.Quiet with a good bathroom. Price was very reasonable. They do not serve breakfast, but there is a cafe at the square, about 100 meters away that do. Parking may be a problem, but the receptionist located a good spot for us

English speaking reception staff helped us find a parking space after checking in. There is a reserved space just outside the hotel but that's to enable you to off load luggage, then you have to find a space in the crowded streets. The staff were the cheerful part, the bedroom furniture was the cheap part, though the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious and we had a tiny balcony looking over a small interior courtyard. There was no restaurant so we had to go to a local cafe for breakfast. The nearest is a few minutes down a steep hill and beware what you order - the breakfast options on the board outside do not seem to exist inside the cafe. There is a further hill to walk down to the main square and up hill to the Roman theatre and ampitheatre. No way would I say the hotel is an easy walk to the main ruins! Certainly not for anyone with any kind of mobility or breathing issue. There is a land train that runs from outside the Theatre/ampitheatre entrance which is well worth it to get your bearings around the town.

If you're going to Merida this is truly a great option for a hotel as it's location is ideal. The hotel and it's rooms are modern, clean and the staff is fantastic and really helpful. If you're driving there's lots of free parking on the streets around the hotel.

Enjoy Merida!
