The location is incredibly beautiful, and the apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need: heat/air con, washing machine, television, wireless, etc. On top of that, the owner, Carmen, is a fabulous person and I loved getting to know her. Highly recommended.

Nice large 2 room top floor appartment with a great balcony from where you can view palm trees on the small plaza in front - and real life everyday acitivities in Letojanni main street. Downside is the somewhat noisy motorway close by - but you get used to that. Great place for a couple who come to chill and do some excursions by car to Mnt Etna, Taormina, Messina and Catania in peace and quiet. We were there in the winter. Not sure how it is in the summertime. The landlady is friendly and will guide you to local area attractions

Carmen was a lovely landlady. Extremely generous (there was a huge plate of Sicilian lemons waiting for us in the apartment!!!!), helpful and kind. Her trips, restaurants and places to see suggestions made our holidays perfect!

The apartment was absolutely wonderful. Spacious bedroom with a wardrobe and air conditioning which was extremely helpful! The living room - kitchen area was very big and comfortable. Fully equiped kitchen with everything you need for cooking. We only ate out 4 times during 2 week stay! We love cooking and the kitchen was perfect! We spent our evenings eating home made food on our lovelu terrace overlooking a charming square. The location of the apartment could not be better! Less then 40m from the beach!!!

We have rented a scooter and went for numerous trips to: Savoca ('God Father' site and the best almond and pistachios bisquits EVER), around Etna (yummy wine!), lots of local towns in the mountains....

It was a perfect place to have relaxing and extremely enjoyable holidays!

I absolutely fell in love with Letojanni.

We will definately be back!

We had a lovely stay here, Carmen was very helpful and collected us from the train station and explained what there was to do when we arrived. The house was beautiful, small but with a lovely patio overlooking the sea and barbeque. The house is a bit out of town so nice and quiet but close to the bus stop for Taormina (about 20mins). Letojanni has lots of places to eat, no supermarkets but nice little delis and Toarmina and Etna are not far. The only problems were that the kitchen was not very well equipped in terms of utensils and there was no left over staple goods so we had to buy all basics (fairy liquid, sponges, salt pepper etc) when we arrived. Also bring ear plugs, the cockerel next door likes to get up very early! Lovely little town, lovely place, and the beach and sea are gorgeous and only 5 mins from the house.

"We spent a lovely week in Letojanni, a very charming seaside resort.
Carmen kindly came to Taormina to pick us up and then get us settled at the house. She had picked delicious strawberries and blood oranges from her garden to welcome us which was a great touch.
The property is compact but charming. The rooms are small but there is plenty of storage space to put everything away. The terrace outside the top bedroom is lovely - a real suntrap in the morning and amazing views down to the sea.
Carmen reccomended a fantastic restaurant to us in nearby Mazzeo - really delicious sea food.
She also explained the bus system which is a little sparse but proved very reliable and an excellent way to get around.
The main square in Letojanni was a fabulous place for a coffee or a sicilian breakfast of granita and brioche and the fishmonger in Letojanni was also fabulous - we had delicious marinated anchovies from there and he had a great selection of very fresh fish all of which was easy to prepare and cook in the kitchen of the property.
My daughter (20 months) had a great holiday in Letojanni - lovely place to take kids. I will say that the house had a lot of stairs so perhaps not the most child-friendly but having said that my daughter had no problems getting around the house.
Defintiely recommended for a quiet, relaxing time."
