Came across this restaurant by accident as many of the others were closed in town for the annual vacation. And it was a very pleasant accident. The restaurant is small and modern in style with a little patio area outside. Although it is next to the street they have screened the patio from the road with an array of greenery. The food is the best type of french cooking and presented well. I had the duck which was perfect, another member of my party had the beef which was also highly rated and yet another had the Scottish Salmon. No one was disappointed. The dessert - which we did not plan to have but could not resist - took some time to come and we wondered why. But when it came we knew why, it was some sort of hot chocolate creation filled with raspberry sauce and served with salted caramel ice creme.
