A standard room w all you can expect. During a heatwave a well-fuctioning aircon felt even luxurious. Brekky had the usual options, but even though v busy everything was tidy, fresh & well-maintained. During high season, the room price was a bit steep.
Nice location, restaurant at the street level and possibility to park your vehicle.
Location is good, everything is close and also small shopping center in the same square.
Also rooms available for people traveling with pets.
Due to covid-19 we were not able to travel abroad and we decided to stay three nights in Lappeenranta. Our stay was just perfect. Rooms were spacious and clean and breakfast was a lot to choose from. Venn winebar downstair is really nice also. The location in the mall was great. For families the sauna and pool are fantastic. In the middle of the week there was only few people and we really enjoyed the sauna experience. The only negative was that every night there were the same drunk men and one of them jumped to the pool naked. Disgusting. Obviously he could not read the signs of jumping and using the swimsuits. I think these heroes are staying at this hotel while working somewhere in Lappeenranta during the weekdays.
Staff of the hotel was nice and helpful. I have nothing to complain and I will definitely stay again.
We got a room from the old side. Not yet renovated. For the price of 140€/night you would expect a bit more quality. The beds are very soft and the pillows worn out. Parking had to be paid separately, which
One would expect to be included in the room price.
We went looking for reliable Scandinavian standards, and that we found. Very friendly staff. Plentiful a breakfast. Coffee and tea very bad, undrinkable even. I doubt the thermos and/or the coffeemaker were ever properly cleaned.
