Recently stayed here for 3 nights. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. The room was adequate and clean. Best of all it was quiet which was a bonus. Meals taken in the Beefeater restaurant were very good, with friendly, competent staff to ensure we enjoyed our experience. The wi-fi was an issue for one of us, but the Receptionist was extremely helpful in trying to sort that out. I'd recommend this Premier Inn and would stay here again.

Shame about the beefeater but we had a lovely stay at this hotel. Great welcome by the gentleman on reception who genuinely took an interest in our trip and made up a bed when we said it wasn’t done. Great 5***** service and would definitely visit again if we are up in this neck of the woods ….
We booked a room here as we were going to the Theatre in St Helens. Staff were super friendly - from check in to departure. Room was clean & welcoming.
We booked for breakfast & that was one of the best we have had at a Premier Inn. Food freshly cooked to order.
Highly recommended. And now we are looking for a reason to book in again very soon!!
This an older hotel but generally feels clean and cared for. Staff are friendly and helpful. Needs a bit more attention to detail on the cleaning of bathrooms. Breakfast at the beefeater wasn't great but may be an isolated issue as staff where trying really hard to keep up with demand but stayed friendly and professional despite the pressure
Stayed one night, plenty of parking adjacent to the hotel, nice frindly welcome, 1st floor room was clean and room, breakfast in the nearby Beefeater was excellent. It is easy to drive past the hotel. Overall and excellent stay
Really great hotel, couldn't fault it. The staff at the hotel and at the Beefeater attached to it where the breakfasts were held were very friendly and helpful, they all had lovely attitudes, a credit to the company. The food, both breakfasts and evening meals were to a high standard. There was only enough coffee/tea sachets in the room for 1 day so needed to ask for some more at reception and was given more than enough to last the rest of the stay. A nice touch in the Beefeater at breakfast times was the help yourself costa coffee machine which also included the facility to take away a hot drink: cappuccino, latte, americano, expresso. The room was the usual high standard. Very clean, spacious and comfy, great power shower.
