Stayed here a dozen or more times over past 12 months. Bracknell town centre is undergoing major reconstruction and this Travelodge is heavily used by workmen. Always aim for room on 3rd floor facing the car park if you want the quietest. Staff always helpful and hotel generally clean although public areas can get grubby quickly. Bar and meals in hotel and Old Manor pub short walk away, plus scrummy Indian restaurant.

I had a week stay here and can honestly say I did not enjoy it. I appreciate that lower budget hotels can only offer so much in terms of facilities but you would hope a comfortable and quiet stay are minimum across the board. The stay didn't get off to a too start as the room I was given had a stale smell of smoke which appeared to have been covered up (poorly) by air freshener. I asked to move room which was granted. The replacement room smelt OK but had a broken wall mounted heater and only 1 plug working. I didn't want to chance moving room again so accepted these minor problems. I was on the business floor so hoped other people on the floor would want a quiet night. However on each night there were people walking up and down the corridor after midnight. On one night there was a lady knocking on doors repeatedly as she had lost her key card. The hotel was being used by a lot of workmen that week. They would return back late at night and made a lot of noise trying to park their van. The breakfast was average and frequently ran out of hot items. It was as if the staff waited for items to run out before going to cook more. I don't think this particular hotel is a true representation of Travelodge per se.

We stayed here so I could be at the Bracknell Royal Berkshire Clinic for an early Monday morning appointment. It was perfect to avoid the M4 traffic and ideal fora visit to the clinic. We had a comfortable stay in a warm and clean room with an excellent bed. We opted for the continental breakfast which was good. We arrived after dark and as the Travel Lodge sign was not illuminated we overshot the entrance and had to retrace our steps, but this was the only hiccup.

We stayed here for 6 nights during the Christmas period while visiting our grandchildren. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and most certainly will again.

Having never used a Travelodge before, we needed overnight accomodation just after Christmas, so we bit the bullet and thought we would try it out. From the moment we stepped through the door to the time we left, we have nothing but praise for the staff and the cleanliness of this hotel. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable, all you need for a nights kip. We ordered food on the evening and had breakfast and at both meals our food was hot, tasty and plentiful. We only ever speak as we find and we say well done to Travelodge and the staff at Bracknell Central

Room Tip: Room 4, ground floor, very quite with no road noise
