Stayed only one night but the place is tired and a little run down. Don't know why it's so hard to keep it clean and welcoming anyway usual spec no more no less always slightly dissatisfied Same old decor good sized room and plenty of plug sockets (8)!!

We had a triple room which was basic but clean and both the kingsize and single beds were very comfortable. There were additional pillows and sheets if wanted and a hairdryer, large flat screen tv and tea coffee making facilites, so all fine for an overnight stay. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. It's attached to a beefeater which did a lovely breakfast and kids under 16 eat free.

Having planned a visit to Legoland Windsor and to see family in Reading, this was an ideal base. The room was very clean and to a good standard that we've come to expect from our previous Premier Inn stays.

This was attached to a beefeater bar/restaurant and although they had run out of a couple of bits the food we found to be very good. Unlike other premier inns the English breakfast was cooked to order, so although I like the all you can eat buffet breakfast, it was nice to be very freshly cooked.

Will def use again when we return to see family soon

We booked this hotel to visit legoland and it was perfect for this as was only 15 minutes away. We were greeted by a friendly receptionist and we were happy enough with the room - everything we expect from a premier inn - clean and tidy. We stay in a lot of premier inns as a family. Unfortunately the room was very hot (even though the day had not been very warm)and the fan in the room did nothing and was far too noisy to have on at night. The heat wasn't the main reason for our very disturbed night - we were in room 1 which was opposite reception thus meaning every time someone went through the door it banged and we heard the noise in our room. I did speak to the receptionist the next morning about the noise as it had disturbed my 2 young children numerous times during the night and I was told they're thinking about changing the occupancy of that room - this really didn't help us! We didn't have a good night's sleep at all. The breakfast was good in the restaurant and the staff were very friendly - offering us alternatives to walking round the town of Windsor as it was very wet that day. I would recommend this hotel for the location but do be aware of the location of your room.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband over the weekend whilst attending a wedding in Ascot and paid £91 for the night. As all premier inn's go the room is quite basic but sufficient for your needs although I think £91 is a bit excessive for this location.

The TV was nice but the volume was limited to an amount that you could just hear with the fan on. The room was very hot and stuffy and unlike some other branches this one didn't have AC which is annoying.

Also the bed was only a double when most other premier inn's have a king size. The extra bed sheet provided however was much appreciated.

Bathroom was clean although the shampoo/shower gel dispenser used to be the Dove brand and now it's some cheap non-lather soap which was a let down.

Of major concern were the mugs in the room that had a lipstick mark on it so clearly the housekeeper hadn't washed these properly and having seen a recent video showing a housekeeper at another well known hotel brand, who didn't actually wash their mugs and glasses properly I can believe this must be somewhat true as I found the stains to prove it.

On checking out we were asked about our stay and we politely mentioned this lipstick mark on the mug. We didn't want to make a scene or complain, just merely pointed out this observation and to our surprise we were refunded our money under the good night guarantee!

The staff, especially Carol were very apologetic and kind gestured to offer this and that certainly helped make up for the other shortfalls. I don't think I would stay at this particular premier inn only because of the smaller bed and no AC otherwise the staff were very friendly and certainly made us feel welcome when we initially checked in.
