This hotel has a nice location. The lobby and bar and restaurant are nice. Service lacks warmth and courtesy. Rooms are decent but they will charge for everything. Wifi is free in the Lobby but you will have to pay for it in your room. Even the use of the safe will be charged.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and it looked newly refurbished. Since we were on an sightseeing trip we did not get to use the hotel during the day but did take breafast in the morning and this was good - I didn't take coffee but my wife said it was OK.

The staff were helpful and polite and everying was clean and tidy

BUT - this is the twenty first century and I really do expect to get free wifi at a good speed when I stay in a hotel. Here they charge the earth if you wanted it in your room - cheaper to buy extra 3g on your phone if your allowance runs out. In the lobby they did offer free wifi BUT I did a speed test everyday and the maximum I found was 0.50 mbps - yes less than one - which meant laoding even the most basic page took and age..

Room Tip: Make sure you have 3g available on your phone if you want to use the internet

Malta is a Island of exceptional beauty and one of the most photogenic place.i stayed in hotel Alexandra for a week in Saint
Julian,s.Great location, the room with the balcony and prime time view on the sea and the beach .
The dinners are extravagant ,with local fish and produce, try fish pie.
The staff is friendly and approachable.
I will remember the view of St George,s Bay .
But the place to be is Valletta the capital city of Malta.
Local bud takes you there for 30 minutes.
Visit Barakka Gardens which offer stunning view of Grand Harbor,St John's Cathedral built in 1578 as the place where the Knights would gather for worship.
Magnificent journey.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the hussle and bussle. Upgraded rooms excellent and the stars of the whole visit are the staff. Chris and his team along with are brilliant. Tony on the bar and Patrick in the restaurant. with Romina on the desk make up the 'A' team

Room Tip: Get a room on the 6th or 5th floor
