I have stayed 3 nights in this hotel, in April 2015.

The location is excellent. It's based in Upper Ross bus stop, in San Julian. You can get to it directly from the airport, with bus X2. You can get directly from the hotel bus stop to Cirkewwa, Valetta and St Paul's bay.

Basically, this is rather a 2 stars Hotel, although it's rated 3. It's very clean. There is a TV in a the room, although the channels are limited. There is also a bathroom and a phone. Wifi is available and as well towels. The rooms are quite old, but in an acceptable condition, for a cheap price.

Breakfast is available starting from 07h30 and it was rather good, although the restaurant is bit small.

The personnel is very nice and helpful.

The bed is comfortable, although the disadvantage sometimes, is the noise outside (probably some stupid tourists after they got drunk)

The area is very safe and I can basically say the same about the whole maltese Island and as well Gozo.

I would rather recommand this hotel for anybody (single, couple or with children etc) who doesn't care much about luxury. The global rating is very Good. If you're a traveller just for sightseeing or business, then it's the right hotel for you.

We recently spent a few days in Malta and stayed at this 3 star hotel, bear in mind 3 star in Malta is usually 2 star in other places. We had a very pleasant stay, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Internet is only available in the lobby, otherwise you pay for it in your room. They served continental breakfast, but there was no variety, and we got exactly the same every day. This is OK if you are only there for a day or two, but not for any longer.

The Hotel is in a very good location, with buses and lots of restaurants within walking distance.

Room tip: Get a room at the back of the hotel, as the road in front of the hotel is noisy.

Enjoyed it!
The staff is friendly, the hotel is clean, is well located in a quiet area.
With a rooftop pool and spectacular views of the St. Julian's bay. Located near the bus stops of major routes. Recommend!

This hotel follows the dictum location, location, location.

it is right in the centre of things, yet in a very quite area.

Just turn the corner and in under a minute you will have tens of restuarants, bars, clubs surrounding you.

Then return back to the peace and quite of this property,

Highly recommended.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day and you get two clean towels every day. The hotel is located in the real centre of life in Malta with a lot of supermarkets and souvenir shops around. It is easy to get to Valletta by bus, it is even easier than from Sliema (some buses do not stop in Sliema at all because they are full but they usually stop in St Julians). If you like sunbathing the hotel top with the swimming pool is an ideal place with a wonderful view of the area.
What we didn´t like: We had problems with water pressure and quality in the shower. The lift is quite noisy (it may be a problem early in the morning).

Room tip: Higher floors are better, they are quieter (as far from the lift as possible)
