We had a mobile phone (an iPhone) stolen from our bedside table during our day out. The room cleaner - an immigrant from Myanmar certainly underpaid - was the only person accessing our room during our absence. Despite a long stressing evening involving police and lots of hassles, we did not get our phone back.
Our simple adivise: Don’t stay at this place if you leave any valuable in your room.
The homestay costs 700 baht a night which may be quite a lot in Thailand but considering the fact that not only do you you get a perfectly clean room with bathroom, hot and cold water, a towel, soap, etc. but a whole house!! If you want breakfas tit is a 100 baht extra. I was happy I wanted breakfat as it was filling and most delicious. The guesthouse sits beatifully in rural surroundings with mountains and jungle. Very nice service, too. At Hup Pa Tad caves a few hundred meters away there is a small store.
A car is useful though I managed without. Highly recommended!
We arrived at this establishment after driving through absolutely breathtaking natural scenery our accommodation was made up of several small neat and tidy units sandwiched between towering picturesque limestone cliffs and surrounded by mango and pawpaw plantations, a far cry from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok!.
Our room at 700baht per night including breakfast whilst not fancy was more than acceptable and were looked after by the delightful Chu Chu whose English was very limited but a smile and a laugh seemed to answer most of our questions, perhaps a little more property maintenance might be in order, we would definitely stay there again for another two nights
Very clean. Peaceful bungalows. Very comfy after my day's forest hiking in the middle of Thailand. Price per house is around 600/800 baht per night.
It has air con, TV, shower with warm shower, towels, soap and shampoo. Simple but nice breakfast (apart from the pic, they have also soft boiled rice for breakfast). The name is Homestay (which I expected to be sleeping in the living room of the house owners. No not in this case) but it is more like little bungalows with nice service.
Yes you need a car to reach there.

- 500 m to Huppatat (archeological cave which has ancient palm and animals). You can easily walk back and forth from the homestay.
