Found this place on advice from one of our daughters. Busy but staff cool calm and collected very efficient and happy unusual these days. Mouth watering cakes and a good menu. Tables cleared and cleaned quickly and service with a smile. We went Sunday afternoon and as said before very busy but only had to wait about 10 mins for a table cant recommend it enough. try it and enjoy it.

I've visited twice in a month recently for take away cake. Each time they have been amazing. The second time i went was bank holiday monday and the staff were rushed off their feet and there was a wait for the food (which smelt amazing) but that speaks volumes on how good it is. Despite how busy it was the staff were happy to explain what all the different cakes were and I left with a gorgeous caramac cake and a luxury chocolate brownie.

Popped in when visiting the area and bought brownie and scone to take home. Both were huge and very tasty. Wide selection of cakes. Will certainly be returning for sit in tea and cake.

Ate here with two friends on a Friday lunch time. Packed when we arrived at 1230 and had a small wait for a table upstairs. Glad we went upstairs as it was a bit quieter. Both rooms lovely though. Menu is big and so much good food to chose from! All homemade and generous portions. I had prawn salad which was huge came with granary bread, potato salad and coleslaw. The cakes are immense and so so big! Got the carrot cake to take home for later was beautiful! Can't wait to go again!

Visited the cafe and farm shop on Friday for lunch. Very busy little place. There was not a very long wait to be seated and the food when it arrived (prepared freshly on site) was really nice and tasty. would highly recommend this place and shop for a lunch out.
