Only giving 4 stars as we had a couple of small issues with our meal. Lentil soup to start was lovely however Arancini balls were tasteless. Chicken salad mains were lovely, plenty of chicken and very tasty. Lemon meringue pie had no lemon in it, a key ingredient.

Good service in pleasant surroundings.

Stayed one night, very nice rooms, spotlessly clean and fresh. Great value as price included full breakfast if required. Will stay again for sure as the location is very handy for this part of greater Glasgow.

Came up for the racing at Hamilton so booked a stay for 1 night based on reviews and was pleased with our selection.
Room modern, recently decorated I assume, though small. Decor was very nice and usual tea/coffee facilities in the room.
Staff friendly, taxis in the area very cheap & punctual and places to eat down the road in Bothwell a plenty.
It was a nice 1 nights stay

Myself and my papa decided to go to Angels for lunch following positive feedback from other family members.
The décor is modern, bright and clean. The menu was unusual but not too out there. The price was very good value. Good service when they see you but generally a bit too distracted by the football (a celtic game was on and they were busy watching behind the bar).
The highlights were the salmon goujons with gorgeous sweet and sour red onions and the mango cheesecake although my papa’s west coast muscles looked delish and were a respectable portion.
The only down side is that the building is not very disabled friendly. My papa has a zimmer frame but is not classed as disabled meaning we could not park in the disabled space and the majority of car spaces are on a quite steep incline at the back of the hotel which was a bit problematic to get into.
There are no disabled toilets and the ramp is only accessible from the inside as it is behind a table (had to get customers to move to get out) and via a fire exit (cannot open from outside).
The waitress assured us they will be getting a revamp this year and disabled access will become available. When this is sorted they will be unstoppable!
All in a great find and I will be back.

Thank you so much for your great feedback, we are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your recent visit with us with your papa and that the food was enjoyable and that you found our pricing reasonable also. As our staff advised we will be undergoing a huge refurbishment which will address the accessing of the building. This will be starting in the next few months. So watch this space and we look forward to seeing you all soon. I will pass your comments on to the General Manager as we appreciate hearing all comments.
Kind Regards,
Charlene Clay
