For my birthday treat we drove to MDINA "The original glass of Malta" I had found it on the internet and after speaking to conceige they said it is a must. So you have to take the turning on the round about leading to the crafts village and the stadium. It is a bit off the beaten track but well worth visiting. Do not stop at the other places that are advertised like the Valetta glass and some other places. Keeping going as if your going into a retail park, you will find it tucked away. Not alot of direction or signs. Once there you are free to film and take pictures. It is just a fantastic site all the hundreds of colours. You can go into the area where the master glass makers and their apprentices are working, and if you are lucky they will let you up and close. There is another guy on the shop floor who does all the tiny works of glass. You can decorate your entire home and yourself. a nice hour to spare. Got a beautiful necklace, earring and ring!!! Enjoy.
