My girlfriend and I spent four days during the summer here and it was very beautiful. The hotel is very comfortable with great food and a helpful staff. The town of Accelgio is a hidden gem in the Italian north. We were able to go on many very interesting and beautiful hikes, and at the end of the day we could return to a very nice Italian dinner and comfortable room. The hotel also seems to be a great home base for biking, as we encoutered many bicyclists also staying here. The surrounding area is gorgeous. Highly recommended for hikers and those who appreciate the outdoors.

Our group has staid for seven nights in March 2012. Vale Maira and Alessandros hospitality is a perfect combination. The kindness of him and his team along with the varying sufficient original Italian food (book half board!) is a great value for money combination. They really give there best to make you feel as almost being at home. You will experience a kind of family atmosphere. Very flexible with the timing of the breakfast (even five in the morning) made it quite convenient for us. The lobby and basement lounge (chimney + jazz music) is a great gathering place with other guests to share experiences of the day along with a good glass of wine from the famous Piermont. The bar man is a kind of original  The location is perfect for the more than 100 ski tours. The valley is a perfect spot for skiing, hiking and mountain biking or just enjoying the beautiful mountains along with some Italian tibits in one of the small but high quality Tratorias within the valley. Thank you Alessandro for the good time we had.
