We have visited for lunch and diner several times and found the food to be fresh and very tasty and good sized portions to share for two. Staff are polite and helpful and service quick if you are in a hurry but never felt pushed to leave when we were relaxing to finish our wine.

A group of us were passing through Thirroul today and were unsure of where to eat. We decided to try here (none of us had before so we weren’t sure what to expect).

The food was wonderful, being of high quality and generously portioned. We had spring rolls to start, then half of us had noodles whilst the others had curry and rice. Every dish was fantastic.

Finally, I can’t not comment on the price of the food; we paid a little over $10 a dish!

If you’re hungry and looking for a plate full, if you’re looking for cheap eats, or if you’re just looking for great oriental food, this is a great choice!

Four friends had an amazing dinner. Probably the best Asian food I’ve ever had!It was a busy night due to a show at a local theatre, but service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed prawn and crab spring rolls, prawn toast, satay chicken, chow mein, and salt and pepper prawns. The meals were delicious. We also had creamy panda buns which were yum. The only disappointing thing we had was the deep fried ice cream. It was cooked in the same oil that the mains were cooked in so tasted a little weird. I will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our lunch. The food was delicious and if we lived in Australia we would return often.

The decor of this Chinese restaurant is not that of a typical Chinese restaurant in Australia. First, they have an open kitchen concept so that’s interesting. Then they have open side windows, characteristic of chic cafes - nice touch!

Service is brisk and pleasant. And the food’s tasty. We have tried Chinese food at other places around Australia and the food here at Dragon Bay is definitely much tastier. Portions are huge too. I had the Hong Kong curry chicken, which was not too spicy. My husband chose the lemongrass combination, which he enjoyed. These were both served with rice.

Noticed that they have dim sum dumplings too. Didn’t try those but I’m pretty sure the prawn dumplings should b top notch!
