We had a wonderful time at the villa we were a group of 16 including children.
Roberto was very nice and extremely helpful even coming down and cooking pizzas in the outside oven. The villa is very spacious with great outside space for eating and bab, The larger pool is where we all were able to lounge around during the day again with plenty of space. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all decent sizes. Good cooking facilities in the kitchen areas..
The village is a walk down the hill which could be difficult if you have difficultie walking and can be hard work getting back up to the villa but the locals in the village were wonderful even bringing the women and children up the hill to the villa in there own cars.. Some lovely restaurants in the village to.There is also a taxi in the village who was great taxi us to the local big supermarket and waited for us while we done our big shop..
We will definitely be looking at going back...

“Fantastic holiday!”
Reviewed 16 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Stayed here with a group of family and friends and had the most amazing time. The house suited us down to the ground, plenty of space for 16. The number of bathrooms is great, no arguments on who goes first amongst a group of teenage girls!

The dining area outside was perfect to enjoy shared meals, had some great nights out here.

We all enjoyed the pool area often going back up in the wevening for late night swims. The pool furniture could be a bit more comfortable...bed mattresses would be welcome. A fridge in the pool house and good quality plastic glasses would make this area ideal.

The village of Sayalonga is completely traditional with a small square and a few restaurants and bars. The people are very friendly and a visit on fiesta night is recommended.

The house is located on the mountainside, the walk down to the village is taxing, back up a real challenge. There is a taxi in the village but the driver is unreliable, you have to catch him at the right time for a ride back up the mountain! But the staff in the restaurant in the square (can't remember the name but I will review separately) were fantastic and gave us a lift back up in relay a couple of times.

Roberto was fantastic! He was always on hand to assist no matter what our request and threw in a few strange ones! We enjoyed the pizza experience especially the kids who loved making their own. Roberto was particularly helpful getting us and our luggage up and down the mountain on arrival and departure.

We had a really relaxing and fun time and would definitely book this again for a group.

“a very peaceful and rustic out of the way holiday”
Reviewed 9 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Roberto met us and was very friendly and accommodating
The place is very spacious , so although we were a group of 17 you could still find peace and quiet when you needed it !
Having 2 pools is great and although there is a games room , all of the equipment is very tired and some actually unusable ( ie table soccer )
The house itself is very rustic, large and spacious.
It is situated very high on the hills/mountains therefore unsuitable for those that have trouble walking,a car is a must ( I would say )
Roberto often brought us fresh crops from his allotment ( grapes , figs , chumba , tomatoes , peppers , onions ) all were beautiful, thankyou.
Also Roberto came and cooked pizzas for us all in his outdoor oven ! superb
ALL IN ALL WE LOVED IT AND HAD A GREAT TIME THANK YOU XXX
The view was FANTASTIC, the town below and the mountains above.

“Brilliant villa. Ideal for large party.”

The villa was a large, typically rural Spanish house with just the right amount of mod coms to make it ideal for our large family holiday.
It was situated up in the hills above Sayalonga. A simple walk down but much more taxing to come back. A number of the party did walk but mainly they were the younger end. Could be a problem for any less agile person.
The swimming pools were brilliant. This was were the whole family spent most of their time.
We had a great time and one member of the family is thinking of booking again next year for a different group. Roberto and his wife were great, even cooking us all pizzas in the pizza oven.

Liked best: That there was lots of room and facilities for 22 of us.
Liked least: The gate opening was a bit of a problem with us having two 2 year olds. Roberto said he would address this problem.

Really nice Villa and owner. Coming back next year for sure! Big rooms and two very nice pools. The games room has everything necessary to keep the kids busy. There is a separate house if groups want to have their own privacy. Fantastic holiday Villa over all!
